Out of the DCEU films...chronologically there have been 6 films in our DC Universe thus far so which film would you say is the best?

For me it is not even close, it's Aquaman by far.

Wonder Woman, easily. Aquaman was fun but a mess and MOS was great in spots and woeful in others. Wonder Woman is the only one that works on pretty much every level.

The rest aren’t worth mentioning.

Best origin film by far has to be Aquaman hell it is the highest grossing origin film in the DCEU and that's saying something

Wonder Woman

*Giant gap*

Aquaman
Man of Steel
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Justice League
Suicide Squad

I'm confident that Shazam will be a great movie, I don't know how much money it will make but in terms of quality, it will be right there among top DCEU movies.

MoS is also a great movie, it's not a perfect Superman origin story but there are many things that are great in it.

Eh, Aquaman has way too much **** going on in it. It would've benefited greatly from more fine-tuning.

In comparison, Wonder Woman is much more concise and focused. An overall stronger film in my book.

Granted WW is a great origin film it could also some fine tuning too in terms of the third act where it more or less falls off especially during the fight scenes of Diana fighting against the General or Diana fighting against her brother Ares; too much CGI for my liking

Wonder Woman. Not even a question. Aquaman is in second place.

I haven't seen Aquaman yet, but of the rest I'd say Wonder Woman is the best (although Batman v Superman is my favourite).

Suicide Squad is my least favorite origin film but does it really count as an origin?

Why isn't there a poll?

Aquaman is by far the most "safest" movie movie they have made, I mean it's designed to appeal to really wide demographic, I sometimes wonder why so many people on SHH boards haven't seen it.

In terms of quality, I think it goes

Wonder Woman
Aquaman
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (UE)
Man of Steel
Justice League
Suicide Squad

BvS is my favorite though

My favorite is much different from the best. I love Aquaman better than Wonder Woman and find it has high rewatchability, but objectively Wonder Woman is a better film with a better cast, better writing, and has better direction....to me anyway.

Bingo. I also think the performances in Wonder Woman are better all around. Gal Gadot and Chris Pine really bring their A-game and have a lot of chemistry, whereas Jason Momoa and Amber Heard make an okay leading duo but don't have much chemistry and their bickering gets old after a while. Robin Wright, Connie Neilsen and Lucy Davis all stand out in Wonder Woman, as opposed to most of Aquaman's dull supporting cast. Hell, Wondy's WWII soldier buddies have more standout moments than Willem friggin' Dafoe and Nicole Kidman! I was shocked at how forgettable the two of them were in (paycheck) roles.

And while both films are awesome in terms of spectacle, I feel like Wonder Woman is able to add real emotion into those epic battles. The No Man's Land scene is inspiring; you can feel the pain of the soldiers putting their lives on the line and Diana's defiance and leadership in that scene is powerful. Similarly, the fight on the beach with the Amazons is also very effective; it's amazing to watch but when Antiope is killed, you feel it. I can't think of any scenes in Aquaman that made me feel anything other than, "Wow, that was cool." And that's okay; I don't need Aquaman to inspire me; just saying that if a film manages to do that, it takes it to another level, IMO.

I thought Wonder Woman was objectively better, but Aquaman was more fun and enjoyable to watch.

I can understand that, though I don't personally agree. I think Aquaman WOULD have been more fun for me if they'd cut some of the scenes down. I felt like a lot of things just went on for too long. And in some of that last battle, I couldn't tell what the hell was going on.
When Arthur rides in to save the day on top of Kraken Julie Andrews, didn't he accidentally kill a bunch of those crab people? I remember it looking that way to me but maybe I need to watch it again.
