Ok alright no since in everyone starting world war 3 i will simpley extend it and start the thread over. Bare in mind i can only get 39 directors too choose from and ofcourse you can discuss anything you like on your favorite directors. Its just i prefer us discussing someone living and done something resently.
Give me a few mintues too Post the New Poll.

Could we all suggest names and then you make it a poll once the names are in?

And I apologise if I came across as overly harsh in the other topic.

I just have a lot of trouble dealing with anyone even possibly suggesting that Michael Bay could perhaps, somehow, possibly have an outside chance of being the best director in the world.

Its not you, its me.

I have a problem...

I put in all that were suggested too me and a few i looked up i have 39 options now and thats all can do.
I decided too vote for someone who likely wouldn't get many votes. So voted for Martin Campbell.

Stanley Kubrick's dead and you left off Paul Thomas Anderson... :oldrazz:

This is slightly better. Agree about Paul Thomas Anderson. The best director at this moment I think.

Stanley Kubrick FTW

You missed spelled his name though :csad:

Well that happens when in a hurry. The guy who directed star dust and layer cake was Matthew Vaughn right guys.

I went with Scorsese. Although I also have an unrequited love for the Coens and Tarantino.

Ridley Scott. He creates worlds, I gladly immerse myself in.

No David Lynch, Sam Raimi or Darren Aronofsky, huh? Oh well, at least we've got Stephen Sommers and the dude that made Waterworld!!!

And since when did the Weinstein Brothers start directing?
