Why people always vote the most recent films? Dull memory??? I mean, same in the dysney villains as in this topic. Come on people, there are more disney movies before 1990. What happens with classics like pinocchio, fantasia, snowhite, sleeping beauty, alice in wonderland, peter pan, dumbo, bambi, aristocats, lady and the tramp, 101 dalmatians or the jungle book?

I wouldnt say that, i say that the first disney films are as good as the lion king or Alladin. Rewatch snowhite, pinocchio, fantasia , dumbo or bambi. They are magical movies.

I get I have forgotten to put in The Fox and the Houd, Mulan, The Jungle Book, The Sword in the Stone and a number of others.

I only had 20 options and tried to fill them up, I realize now that I should have not bothered with Brother Bear (which is a shame I remembered over The Fox and the Hound and Mulan) and just put an Other choice.

Of the list, I like Sleeping Beauty the best. But where the hell is Fantasia? That's Disney's Magnum Opus, IMO.

I agree  It's a beautifully done movie, excellent music, and a perfect introduction for kids to get into classical music.

Because of all of those, only Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan didn't suck.

Anyway, I'm going to get a lot of **** for this, but my favorite was Atlantis. Loved the characters, loved the style, nothing wrong with the story. It was a good movie. Treasure Planet was great too. Emperor's New Groove is right up there with Atlantis as well.... Actually... change my vote, Emperor's New Groove is the best disney movie. I don't count the Pixar films because Disney only distributed them.

    Modern:
    Hunchback of Notre Dame
    Mulan
    Atlantis: The Lost Empire
    Aladdin

    Classic:
    Robin Hood
    Jungle Book
Fantasia (though I used to hate it as a kid).

It was close between Hunchback and Robin Hood, but I've got to go with the latter.

What the hell??? Are you saying that Pinocchio, fantasia, snowhite, sleeping beauty, dumbo , bambi, aristocats, lady and the tramp, 101 dalmatians and the jungle book all sucked? Dude, you must be joking. All those movies are animated masterpieces. They are true jewels and are ranked in any list of best animated movies of all time.

I also loved Atlantis, its a shame not many people appreciate it. I also found Emperor's New Groove enjoyable, Eartha Kitt was great.

I like Emperors New Groove too. I thought it was quite funny, but in animation, there is definitely better.

Since the awesomely animated but relatively serious Hunchback, starting with Hercules, they started slacking off on the animation and started adding more humor.
