Best/Favourite cbm Cameos ( besides Stan Lee)

Something that can add a little lift to a film is a good cameo at the right moment. Most folks probably have a chuckle every time Stan Lee shows up in an MCU film. Of course Stan had so many cameos that he really needs his own thread.

IMO a cameo is distinct from a character with a small role ( e.g. in GOTG vol 2 Stallone has a small role, rather than a cameo whereas Michelle Yeoh, Ving Thames and Milee Cyrus have cameos. Gal Gadot has a small role in B v S, Jason Momoa has a cameo).


So, what are your favourite cbm cameos ?

In the MCU cameos often occur during mid credits scenes:
E.g.
- Benecio Del Toro as the collector in Thor TDW.
- RDJ in the Incredible Hulk
- Chris Evans as Cap in Homecoming.


There are also some good ones during the film itself:
E.g.
- Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in X p Men First Class.
- Chris Evans as Loki pretending to be Cap in Thor TDW.
- Anthony Mackie as Falcon in Ant Man.
- Ben Affleck as Batman in Suicide Squad
- US Senator Pat Leahy in pretty much every Batman film.

There are probably a heap of others I can't think of right now.

My favorite, so far is a tie between Matt Damon as Faux Loki in Thor Ragnarok and Hugh Jackman in First Class.
Both are short and hilarious.

No, the cameo isn't Ledger. The guy who he threatens at the party is a real life United States Senator, named Pat Leahy. Senator Leahy has made cameo appearances in 5 Batman movies.

Yeah, that was hilarious - I'm surprised he didn't manage to fit Julian Dennison in there somewhere (although I guess he might have been busy with Deadpool 2).

Sorry, okay let me explain.

The gif image that @The Joker posted is of the party scene in the Dark Knight. In that scene the Joker crashes Bruce Wayne's party, looking for Harvey Dent. One of the guests says "We're not intimidated by thugs !"

And the Joker says "You remind me of my father.....and I HATED my father !"

Now we all know that the Joker is played by Heath Ledger.

However, the party guest who says "We're not intimidated by thugs!" is in fact a real-life United States Senator, named Pat Leahy.

Senator Leahy has made cameo appearances in 5 Batman films - because he's a massive Batman fan. He's probably made more cameo appearances in DC films than any other single person.

In my first post I misspelled "Leahy" by transposing the L and the h to spell "Healy". The post you have quote is me apologising for my error.

Does that make sense now ?

I'll add another obscure one since many of my favorites have been named in this thread already. One of the many unnamed Green Lanterns in the film was Princess Iolande. She looked different than her comic/animated counterparts, but it was confirmed to be her. I was excited at the prospect of her having a larger part in future GL films, but we all know how that ended.

Such a shame we got that piece of **** TASM instead of Raimi’s Spider-Man 4. From what I understand, Campbell would’ve been confirmed as Mysterio at the beginning of the movie in a short fight scene.

Edit: Hmm I thought this was about Stan's cameos. My favorite is the cameo of Jean and Scott in Dofp, I was so happy in that scene and the audience reaction for those cameos in all my screenings were great!
