Not sure about best, there are many candidates for that, but I voted for Transformers as that was definately the most enjoyable movie of 2007.

I voted No Country but my vote could have just as easily went to either There Will Be Blood,The Diving Bell and the Butterfly or Once which were all phenomenal movies.

On a second thought,i'm kinda sad i didn't vote for Once since No Country will probably win without my vote and no one would vote for Once...oh,well.

There Will Be Blood

Hard choice to pick considering I really enjoyed No Country For Old Men and Zodiac. There are a few films on that list I keep hearing good things about that I haven't seen yet.

I didn't care about anyone in No Country. The one man you root for is

all of a sudden killed, offscreen.

There's no real climax to the movie, it just... ends. It just wasn't entertaining to me.

So many good films in 07. There Will Be Blood was awesome, Ratatouille was perhaps Pixars finest work, the Final Bourne perfectly ended the series, Javier Bardem was amazing in No Country, Zodiac was great, Sweeny Todd was perhaps Burton's best film, comedies where good this year with Juno, Superbad and Hot Fuzz. If I gotta choose, I'd go Zodiac just pipping the post.

I'm going to have to go with No Country for Old Men, Anton is simply one of my favorite characters of all time.

Oddly enough I really really enjoyed The Mist and I think it deserves much more recogntion than it recieves.

I hate the 3rd Pirates Movie, though Davy Jones is a fantastic peice of work.
