Lee by miles... he was much more distinct back then, he almost looked a bit lanky at times.

Larocca does a good Gambit aswell tho, and I actually liked MAds version aswell

I don't like Madureira's version too much. Jeanty made him too baby faced.
I like Lee's and Larroca's Gambit.

Jim freakin Lee! Followed by Joe Mad. This should be a poll.

From the choices, definately Lee, with Larroca's X-treme run a close second. My choices usually run depend on the picture in question, though, so it's hard to judge at times. :)

Lee, definitely. Fallowed by Larroca. I've always liked Steve Skroce too, but he isn't one of the choices.:(

Sorry, I could only add 7 pictures.

Skroce

Was never the biggest Steve Skroce fan, I hated him when he was on ASM and X-Man.

My vote goes to Madueira, because, In my mind, that is the most emotive Gambit. I'm also a very big fan of Jim Lee's, Adam (or was it Andy?) Kubert's, and Salvador Larrocca's. The other intepretations, eh, they don't make the cut.

Steve Skroce for sure. I only have two issues of the Nicieza/Skroce Gambit book, but both are incredibly well-drawn.

Man, they all look good. The last one isn't as up there as the others but it's nice nonetheless.

The best Gambit artists have a distinct style. Jim Lee's Gambit had that scruffy hair, those sinister eyes and that mischievous grin.
Joe Mad's Gambit had that cool hair.
Skroce's Gambit has that nose.

Well, Lee really defined Gambit. Now, Gambit seems to look like every other generic guy with brown hair...they just give him red eyes. But, Lee gave Gambit a distinct look and feel; gritty, tough as nails, yet charming, all at the same time. The other artists shown only seem to get some of those qualitys and make him too handsome. He's a good looking guy, but not gorgeous like those artists make him look. It isn't Gambit's LOOK that makes ladies melt around him, it is his CHARM, and that was always portrayed best through Jim Lee.

I agree, Gambit's a good looking guy but his charm will always be his fortee. Lee showed this perfectly.
Also, I'm kind of beginning to like Madureira's version more.

Jim Lee is the only one to capture the character correctly.

Lorocca was Horrid. :down

Salvador Larroca hands down followed by jim lee

I think Lee Weeks drew him pretty well too.
