What do you think are the best justice league comics?
I would say
1. Dc the new frontier
2. Jla by Grant Morrison
3. Kingdom come

2 of your 3 are elseworlds stories, so if we are talking elseworlds I would also throw in Alex Ross’ Justice, which is a fun comic.

But keeping it in continuity, I’d put Mark Waid’s run clearly at #1. It has such classic stories as Tower of Babel and Divided they Fall. It’s a solid and classic run top to bottom.

For most underrated, I’d go with James Robinson’s much maligned JLA run. People tend to dog on it a lot, but it’s one of my personal favorites because it is so unconventional. The lineup was Dick Grayson as Batman leading a team that included Supergirl, Donna Troy, Jade, Jesse Quick, Starman, and Congorilla. They fight The Crime Syndicate and Eclipso in that run, so it is legit threats. It’s bonkers crazy and amazingly fun. I love it.

I honestly don't care of it's elseworlds or in continuity. A good story is a good story and i will fit the stuff that i like the most into my own headcanon.

I wasn’t criticizing your initial post. I just was pointing out that 2 of the three are clearly elseworlds stories. That’s not a knock on them. Heck, Kingdom Come is amazing and probably the best comic ever written. But I think it’s appropriate to at least note what is and what isn’t in continuity.

I'm not sure I would qualify JUSTICE as an Elseworlds book.

That said, JUSTICE is my all time favorite Justice League story. Every note just sings.

Justice League of America #200 by Gerry Conway is also a great one. A brilliant selection of artists on that one, too.
