Best Marvel Movie-2007 Edition.

The poll is simple, vote for the the one which you think is the best.

I've put on both the TC's of each movie plus, any DC's or EE's available, to accomodate everyone (The only DC i left off was Elektra, because i heard it is only 2 mins longer).

I dont think i've missed any movies but if i have, please vote other and state it please, thanks.

my favourite is the hulk but the best is a top up of blade or x-men.

i go with blade because it's the only one to surpass its source material.

cause there is a difference between best and favorite. Hulk, while being me fav, isnt the best. Best has to go to Spidey 2 or X2 or Blade 2. IMO.

I've heard other people make this argument, and while it is a good point and i understand it, i think it is kind of a silly argument.

Surely your favourite, the one you enjoyed the most, should be your best also.

favourite is purely entertainment and everything else gets put aside for one moment.

top gun may be my favourite movie of all time but there is no way i can say it's the best movie ever made.

Yeah, i have always seen the points of the argument, but again, i dont think they are valid enough. IMO Aliens and The Terminator are the 2 best movies ever, yet they are my 2 favourite movies as well. X2 is the best Marvel movie IMO, and it is also my favourite. See what I mean?

not really, they are both really good films that highly are considered classics and arguably could be considered the best in their genres which makes them arguable contenders for best films.

no superhero movie (even superman: the movie) can really contend.

Good quality films, that are well made and utilize all the facets of cinema and are consdiered 'the best' are the most entertaining....

I agree with you too. My favorite is the Punisher, but they it is far from the best. I would say either X2, Spider-Man or Spider-Man 2.

All the other Marvel films should thank 'Blade' for opening the door to serious comic book movies. Therefore, my vote is Man-Thing.

Agreed. With perhaps X2 as a close 2nd. Still, those are the two best Marvel movies out there....the only two great ones. Everything else ranges from "pretty good" to just plain "awful".
Which makes me a bit sad. SM2 was 3 years ago. Have we seen the high water mark of Marvel films come and go already?

I always respect someone that can step back and look at a bigger picture like that. I have more faith in that person's opinion.

It's a matter of being mature enough to seperate your personal preferences from the equation....and the thread did ask BEST (i.e. quality), not FAVORITE (i.e. preference).

there are far more problems with spiderman 2 than there are with spiderman one.

same goes for the x-men films..

i think these sequels are far from being the best.

i don't know why people rate them so highly.

I would have gone for blade, but I chose X2 this time, Those 2 films are pretty much dead-set and I usualy go for blade, but I felt like X2 this time. lol.
