Best New 4th Installment In A Old franchise so far?

Come on guys, you knew this thread was coming, its pretty self-explanatory, a lot of old franchises have now gone beyond the usual 'trilogy,' some have gone beyond of course, but i'll be sticking to old franchises who have only reached 4th movies so far.

The choice is simple, so, choose, I cant vote so far though, i need to see Rambo and Indy 4 again to properly vote.

That's a no-brainer. Indy IV. It stayed with it's roots of the original 3. Rambo was good, but pretty much a final attempt to make Sly a house hold name again.

I have liked all of the these 4th entries so far, but LW4 and A:R were definately the weakest IMO.

As much as I want to put Indy 4, I had to go with Live Free or Die Hard. Then again I've only seen the unrated version but I liked it as much as some of the old ones (though nothing can beat the original).

Of those listed, easily it's Indy by far.
Live Free or Die Hard was OK, but hardly a great film. In fairness I never saw Rambo, but heard it was very good. Actually the film you should have had on there instead was Rocky Balboa, which was almost as good as the original Rocky, and better than all the other sequels.

Yeah, even though it's not a 4th installment, Rocky Balboa was easily the best Rocky after the first movie.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Live Free or Die Hard was great too, but Indy felt more like its predecessors. Like Lethal Weapon 4, but it felt tired. Land of the Dead felt that way too. Haven't seen Rambo. Like Alien Resurrection, but its probably the weakest of the four, and unlike most peeps, I wouldn't say that about Die Hard 4 or Indy 4 (Both 2nd installments, though TOD is still great)
