So the question is in the title. We've had five years of New 52 and one of Rebirth so there should be plenty to choose from. I'm not talking characters that have basically had a huge overhaul from pre-New 52, I mean conpletely new characters. And I'm not talking organisations either like the Ninth Circle or Court of Owls, just individual characters. Though they can be a part of those organisations. I have tried to write in a way that doesn't spoil the stories they are in just in case anyone wants to read them. But anyway, read my thoughts and then if anyone has their own ideas I would love to hear them.

My first choice is Bunker. He was one of the few shining lights from the dark expanse that was Teen Titans. A diverse character that never exploited the minorities he was representing and was true hero who really should get more recognition. In universe even Arsenal notes how powerful he is and that he is destined for the Justice League. Currently in limbo it would be easy to make him another of Oz's prisoners who reunites with Tim and comes back in to continuity via him.

My next choice is Raptor. He's one of the few characters that has crossed away from his series of origin as he appeared in Deathstroke after his Nightwing stint. We've learnt so much about him and his origins. We feel for him and yet despise him. And we've still got plenty to learn.

My next choice is Afterthought. Another character who has crossed series' having appeared in Midnighter and then coming into Justice League of America these last couple of issues. Admittedly this is only because both are written by Orlando but he's been a decent character so far. He's not all powerful, but he is enough that he is a decent threat and I would love to see him a bit more fleshed out.

Lastly, Pale Man. Another who was a glint of hope out of a poor series he's the only thing I can really remember out of yet another poor series from the New 52. Though even details of him remain foggy as they are woven in with the story of Static. He's a victim who suffered tragedy and is trying to find his place in the world, a world where no one wants him or trusts him. I'd love a one shot that features his origin more in-depth but he's the one on my list least likely to ever return so I don't see it happening.

I liked the villain Mirror in Gail Simone's very first New 52 Batgirl arc.

Does Jon Kent/White/Smith...uh...does current Superboy (Lois's son) count?

I'm thinking everyone's answer may be the Court of Owls.

That's why I said no organisations because I knew Court of Owls would be the first answer on everyone's keyboards haha.

For a Superboy I'd say yes because he's a new character that is taking on the position in a legacy name. According to Wikipedia he was introduced in 2015 and not a rehash of an old character so I'd say yes.

And I've not ready any Batgirl. I loved Simone on Secret Six which reminds me that Strix was a great character. She started in Batgirl as well didn't she. Much more time given to her than Porcelain got.

I'd go with Jon Kent as best hero. With Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz and Keenan Kong a distant 2nd 3rd and 4th.

For villains I'd go with William Arcane as 1st. That kid is genuinely scary. Then I'd go with Corum Rath, and the Talon who was Dick's great grandad (or whatever)

But Jon and Little Arcane easily get top billing.
