New guy here long time follower. Not sure if this has been posted but which comic or novel do you think has the best opening of Bruce Walking out of the theatre, parents getting murdered, bruce training, then becoming the Batman? Example: The begining of HUSH or Bruce Wayne: Murderer when Sasha explains it.

Thoughts opinions? :brucebat:

I love Frank Miller's year one where the bat crashes thru the window and Bruce says to himself: Yes father, i shall become a bat.

I would say The Untold Legend of the Batman.

When it comes to walking out of the theater...as much as I hate to be boring and predictable I don't think any other version will ever hold a candle to Dark Knight Returns. The pearls are a standard origin element now as is Brucie's low point of view looking at the gun barrel.

The Batman 0 issue from zero hour has so many resemblances to BB - from the overall feel of the issue fright down to small bits of dialogue and origin details. You always see BB mentioned next to Year One and Long Halloween but never next to Batman 0.
