I think its pretty safe to say that First Blood has been the best movie in the series so far, it is a bonafide classic, but everyone of the sequels have come in for criticisms from some quarter or another, I was just wondering what people feel the best sequel to First Blood has been so far.

I'm currently torn between Rambo (4) and FB part II so will think a little and then decide.

The last film really hit the spot for me, followed by 2, and 3 as my least favorite.

^Yeah, I am torn between 2 and 4, up until recently it would definately have been 4 but have been re-watching 2 lately and its still pretty good.

I really didn't care for any of the Rambo sequels and don't own any of them. First Blood is the only one I watch. If I were tied to a chair and forced to watch one of the sequels I guess it would be First Blood II.

First Blood Part II gets my vote, although i do enjoy all of them :woot:

Originally I would have said Rambo but since I've seen them all recently, maybe First Blood Part II. I do love them all as well. :woot:

Part 2 holds a special place in my heart, since when I seen it in the theater opening night, I got some Swag (a button, program, and headband).

I love all of them equally. As a kid every day after school or karate I would go home and watch a Rambo movie, every day, for like 15 years (burned out so many copies of the tape!). Those movies are burned onto my memory and I still get out the DVDs and watch at least one of them every week.

2 for me, an amazing film. I think Jim Cameron was a producer on it.

No, he co-wrote it.

Co-writer James Cameron claims that he only wrote the first draft of the script and that Sylvester Stallone made many changes to it. When the film was released, the "political" content of the movie was considered controversial. Many felt the Vietnam conflict was "altered" to look and sound heroic. Cameron commented that he only wrote the "action" and that Stallone wrote the "politics".

Cameron's script started at an insane asylum which he later used for T2.

At one point the producers wanted it to be a buddy picture with Travolta!

Part 2. ****ing love it.

Oh, wow. Thanks for the info.

It was hard for me to decide between 2 and 4, but I voted for 4. Love the entire series, though.

Like most everyone I'm torn between four and two . The third was definately the worst but it's enjoyable.

I thought I would be the only one torn between 2 and 4, looks like i'm not, REALLY cant decide though, a week ago it would undoubtedly have been 4 but when I re-watched 2 recently I really liked it.

I don't get the hate for Rambo III. I mean, the goofiness started with Part II, Rambo III just continued it.

^Were do you think the goofiness started in Rambo II? Not saying it wasnt there but III was a lot more outrageous to me.

When one guy takes out an army. :woot:

III was more outrageous but First Blood Part II was still pretty out there.
