I know this is probably a no brainer as to who is first but second and third place may be intresting. Which Saturday Night Live alum has done the best film work?

Difficult to choose only one. I could say Bill Murray, Steve Martin, John Belushy, Chevy Chase,Billy Crystal. Eddie Murphy, Dan Aykroyd, Martin Short,Will Ferrell , etc.

Adam Sandler is one of the unfuniest things in a movie or in a tv program ever.

Ok, i see it, im myopic but not that myopic. I know that he wasnt an official cast member of the SNL but he colaborated on it very usually. He was in a lot of programs between 1975 and 1982 and he appeared a lot in that program.

Not an official member, but yes a regular guest.

And I'm sorry if I came off as an ass, but you won't honestly believe how many people beleive he was an official cast member. I'm an SNL fanatic, so I'm a bit pretentious and anal retentive when someoe says something inaccurate about it.

But yeah, if you want to count Martin as an unofficical cast member, yeah, he'd probably be second to Murray. Also, Chase had some good stuff.

Thanks for the compliments about my avvy. I love Grace. Most beauitful woman ever in my opinion.

Hartman and Carvey were the best impersonators. Too bad Hartman's nolonger with us and Carvey's career went down the ****ter.

Chase was great for awhile. His Ford, which was basically him falling down, was brilliant. And yeah, Weekend Update with him was awesome.

Murphy is quite possibly the most important cast member in the show's history, simply because he singlehandedly saved it from getting cancelled.

You asked for the votes, I don't think he is the best, but he is certianly top 5, and I would have no problem with him winning, cause he made me laugh ON Snl more than Murray, but I think Murray has had the best film career so far, but that could also change because Farrell is really quite good.

Where is the love for Larry David? He wrote on their for like 3 years, and since then he created one of the best sitcoms ever Sienfeld, and writes and stars in one of the best sitcoms today in Curb Your Enthusiasim
