Have a feeling this is really only a race between Blues Brothers, Wayne’s World and maybe MacGruber, but figured I’d throw in the dark horse candidates as well.

But for me, it’s Wayne’s World. Still as funny as when I was a kid.

Either Blues Brothers or Wayne's World; depending on my mood.

There's no way that Blues Brothers and Wayne's World don't take the top two spots in this poll. But to echo DJ above, it comes down to either of those films. They're the most solid and most enjoyable. Can't say the same for Blues Brothers 2000 and I don't think I've seen Wayne's World 2 yet.

That said, I did hear that the MacGruber film was okay.

For me it’s easily The Blues Brothers.

Damn this is hard. I grew up on a lot of these movies.

Yall might think I'm crazy but I say Coneheads. It's unhealthy how many times I watched that as a kid and I still say 'parental units' to this day.

But 'Superstar', 'It's Pat' and 'Wayne's World' are all in my heart too.

I have to go with Wayne's World. I love Blues Brothers and it's a close second but Wayne's World never ceases to make me laugh no matter how many times I've seen it.

Coneheads is one of those movies where if I saw it for the first time today I probably wouldn't think much of it but because I watched it a lot as a kid (it was ALWAYS on HBO) I have a soft spot for it. It's got a certain charm to it, plus the amount of SNL cast cameos in that will make your head spin.

Even though most of them have been pretty bad, I do kinda miss SNL movies. It's tough to take an idea that's made for a 5 minute sketch and stretch it to 90 minutes but if there's any SNL character introduced in the past 15-20 years who would make for interesting movie material it's hands down without a doubt:

I don't think anyone could resist a movie loaded with all the crazy stuff Stefon has listed in his Weekend Update appearances come to life.

Wayne’s World, Night at the Roxbury, and Blues Brothers are my favs

Would have loved to see a Hans & Franz and Spockets movie. Loved those skits from back in the day

Wayne's World for me, mainly because I don't associate Blues Brothers with SNL

MacGruber was funny too but my appreciation for really dumb humor wanes at times (and that it makes Wayne's World seem like "smart" humor is remarkable)

Any time I see blatant product placement in a movie my mind always jumps to Garth decked out in Reebok gear.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but as far as comedy sequels go, Wayne's World 2 really isn't bad. Of course it's a far cry from the first one but it's still got some good moments in it. It was definitely a rush job to cash in on the success of the first one so the jokes don't feel as fresh but it's easily better than half the SNL movies on that list. I mean, who the hell ever asked for a movie about Stuart Smalley?

And here's ANOTHER unpopular opinion: I'd be down for a Wayne's World 3 as long as there was a good story around it. I've loved any time Myers and Carvey have reprised Wayne and Garth in recent years like at the SNL 40th special.

Blues Brothers and Wayne’s World are tops!

As for my guilty childhood pleasures, Wayne’s World 2, Coneheads and A Night at the Roxbury.

MacGruber I thought was funnier in concept than execution to be honest. Never saw the follow up series from last year.

I guess we won’t talk about Blues Brothers 2000.

Still need to see Ladies Man and Superstar. I assume It’s Pat and Stuart Saves His Family aren’t even worth it.

Side note, even though they weren’t based on SNL characters, I always considered those 90s Paramount Lorne Michaels produced comedies part of the SNL films like Billy Madison, Tommy Boy, Happy Gilmore, Black Sheep etc. I guess in that respect, Three Amigos could also be considered with an asterisk.

To this day I still haven't seen Blues Brothers 2000 but I was probably the only kid in the world who played the video game when it came out. I hadn't even seen the first Blues Brothers yet, I just rented it from Blockbuster because I was bored and had already played the other games that were available there. Needless to say it sucked. :o

One of many scenes I loved in Wayne’s World, but this was one of my favs as a kid as a huge T2 fan!

I think it's Blues Brothers and Wayne's World. I can't choose between them. Very different films with different goals and approaches, but they each nailed it. I've had the great pleasure of hearing Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio, only to notice other cars playing it and we're all singing and head banging like glorious idiots. That movie could unite the world if we let it, LOL.

I would also say Wayne's World. i didn't even know it was from an SNL sketch when I watched the movies back in the day, and it still worked.

I remember trying to watch MacGruber a couple of years ago, but I didn't really get it. I know it's supposed to be a MacGyver spoof, but it just wasn't that funny to me. I also hadn't seen the SNL sketch for this movie, but here it didn't work. It felt like I wasn't in on the joke.
