Slightly rendom thread, but having watched it again recently, I have come to the conclusion that Catch Me if you Can is Spielberg's best film this decade. I also think he has been slightly hit and miss recently.

So, what do you think? What is the best film Steven Speilberg has made this decade, and why?

I wouldn't really call it the best but I enjoyed Catch Me if You Can a lot.

War of the Worlds is probably his weakest.

I've only seen three out of the list, and of the two I finished, the Crystal Skull was the best.

Havent seen 3 of them, the highly rated Munich being one, so Minority Report gets my vote.

AI - I hated it.
Minority Report - It was good untill the last 20-30 minutes.
Catch Me if You Can - Very good
Terminal - Haven't seen.
War of the Worlds - I liked it a lot until the last 10 minutes which are crap.
Munich - Very good.
Crystal Skull - Haven't seen. Not a big fan of Indy.

Crystal Skull is my favorite from this decade & it's the one I voted for, but out of the ones I've seen Minority Report was the best.

AI, Minority Report, Munich, and possibly Yet to come...

War of the Worlds sucked, Catch Me If You Can was overrated, didn't see Terminal, I enjoyed Crystal Skull but that had too much Lucas pull on it.

I chose Minority Report, but it was a close call between that and Munich.

I guess Catch Me if You Can...a bit of a let down this decade from Spielberg now looking back at it

I picked "Yet to come" because of Lincoln and Interstellar.

catch me if you can. i'd give second place to AI. i just wish that movie ended where kubrick wanted it to end, rather than the spielberg ending. if that happened, i might of put it above catch me if you can.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

Tough one, his magic touch has faded in recent years but I go for Minority Report simply because it had a few brief moments that showed his true style.

Carch me if you can a very close second.

I like Minority Report the best but AI is one of the greatest films ever made.

1. Catch Me If You Can - I loved this. A very entertaining film with lots of funny and sad moments. 9.5/10
2. The Terminal - Great, even if a little cheesy. 8/10
3. Minority Report - Great film, but slows down during the last half hour 8/10
4. Munich - Good film, but really slows down the last hour 7.5/10
5. A.I. - I liked it, but one viewing was enough. 6.5/10
6. War of the Worlds - Bad. I was rolling my eyes throughout the whole fim. It may have impressive visuals, but it also has Dakota Fanning screaming for more than half of the film. 3/10
7. India Jones: KotCS - Hated it in almost every way. I only liked one scene with Indy escaping Hanger 51. Everything else was trash, imo - 1/10

I've only seen Catch Me If You Can, Minority Report, and War of the Worlds. Out of those three I'd say Minority Report is the best.

Catch Me If You Can for me. Has some great performances with good drama and comedy. Spielberg should make films like this more often.
