After seeing Deathlok's "costume" on Agents of Shield, it got me thinking. What are the best superhero costumes translated to the small screen? We know the budgets aren't half as good as the movies, so which tv shows got it mostly right for what it's worth.

Here are some candidates.

Dina Meyer's Batgirl costume (granted it was originally Alicia Silverstone's ice suit from the third act B&R with adjustments)

Superboy rocked the outfit better.

The Cape. crap show but I always liked his costume.

For a CW show, I actually quite like the costume for The Flash.

Now that is a good looking suit that looks like $$ was spent on it. Sad that Sci Fi never did anything with the character.

And she might as well be a superhero (and she did have her own comic series)

Don't know why no one has seemed to try to contact the shows costume designer.

Ngila Dickson? Possibly because she was also responsible for the live action Green Lantern "costume".

Considering it was CGI, I don't put to much blame on her since she gave them a design that the asked for and it wasnt HORRIBLE.

M.A.N.T.I.S. was the best for me. Can't remember if the show was good since I was a kid when watching it, but this is bonafide cool.

They didn't change the movie costume for him, that's awesome
For a TV series I love the one from Lois & Clark more, looks really good on Dean Cain, I think it fits him more than the movie suit

Looks like a mix of Beetle's second look and the Umbrella soldiers from Resident Evil 2

From the one shot Legend of the Superheroes

Say what you will about trunks and what not. But this is one of the best costume adaptations ever seen on the small screen. Still looks great today...

The 90's Flash out fit was the best with the L&C Superman one coming in next. For the new ones coming to TV I'll wait and see how they look in action before judging them.

I think both Flashes look great, but there was something that always bothered me about the 1990 suit. Maybe it was the fake muscles. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great suit and JWS looked great in it, but I've always pictured the Flash being a slim guy with a more form-fitting suit.
