Poison Ivy and Killer Croc!

I've only read one Ivy story from the 70's (flytrap on the cover), one pretty awful 90's arc with a stoned Floronic 'Chronic' Man, Hush, TLH, Contagion and some BTAS eps. Otherwise what are the best Ivy stories you guys know? Is there a particular version of her you like? Also I heard she was in a Swamp Thing arc, is the story any good, is it collected in trade?

Same for Croc. Havn't read much with him at all but I really liked how he was done in Broken City and the circus freaks BTAS episode. Where is the coolest Croc? What do you think of the dinsosaur version in Hush?

Thought I may as well title the thread so it's applicable to all villains, about their shining moments.

I don't remember a lot of story arcs with Ivy, I can recommend an early arc from LOTDK I thik it was called Hothouse, but I'm not sure.
Also Black Orchid featured her.

Same goes for Killer Croc, if you like Kelley Jones artwork try and find the issues with Swampthing and Killer Croc they are great.

"Vengeance Of Bane" Vol. 1 is one of my all time favourites. It's an origin story for Bane which shows the background of his childhood and how he grew up to become a drugged up killer. It makes you feel sympathetic towards his cause which is always a sign of a great double sided story.

It was only ever released as a prestige one-shot issue so may be hard to track down but it is highly recommended and gets Emma's Official Rating of 4 bats out of 5.

The Four of a Kind TPB includes Ivy's origin. That was a pretty good story. I forget what the actual single issue's title was...it was one of the Year One Annuals from '95.
