Should I save them to my computer some how or put them on disc?

I do buy them. I buy them off of the internet. I'm just not sure how to save them.

I download movies from the internet but I can't find them when I want to watch them later. Are they still on my computer? If so, where can I find them?

You should download them to a file labeled movies and then go into that file and watch them. Also if you want to keep them, you can back them up on disk that way if your hard drive fails you still have them. For the ones you can't find just do a search of your drive fore them.

Can you view the movies offline? Try unplug the network or modem cable from your computer. If you can't, then it's a video feed which requires a constant communication with the server. I.e. the video is not saved in your PC.

If you could, then you're in luck. But the trick is to find it. If you're using Windows XP, then use the search function to search large size more than say, 25MB and search hidden files and folders as well. When the results appear, the next step is for you to compare the dates of the file created and use whatever default video player you have to play back the downloaded movies.

Hope this helps.

ok I have another problem. Ever since I put my videos in the "My Videos" folder, they all come up twice when I search for videos . Does this mean I have two copies of each video?

I don't think so, even if you have mirroring backup software such as Symantec Go Back, you won't see duplicates when running a search.

I suspect the second entry is a shortcut to your recently opened videos as appeared in My Recent Documents.

This is true if you select Search for hidden files and folders under Search Criteria (if you're running Win XP). Simply uncheck the selection may resolve your problem.

Hope this helps.
