I know Goyer's out, but I saw some dispute over the subject over on the other thread. So which one is a better choice for Flash? I would have to say Goyer because I like the idea of a darker Flash movie over a light-hearted one, although he definently isn't my top choice.

Goyer would be the lesser of two evils, I guess.

Well, Goyer is a fan. He wanted Wally and Barry. Reynolds would have starred as Wally. From what I've heard, Goyer. But that's also just me thinking that DC and WB are gonna force a Bart movie on us and Goyer wouldn't do it, so they switched directors...hopefully I'm wrong...

dude, thats like choosing between bush and kerry. wheres the write in vote?

I dont see why you think WB wants a Bart movie. In fact, I dont think they can due use Bart, because of Smallville. My assumption was always that the reason Bart Allen appeared on Smallville instead of any other Flash was that because the rights for Wally and Barry were tied up in the movie department. So couldn't it go the other way around? Smallville has the rights to Bart Allen, and the movie producers have the rights to the other three.

no, WB has the rights to all DC characters. though the movie productions and tv productions are quite seperate from eachother in operations, the movie productions hold rank over the tv productions....they ALLOWED smallville to use bart because they likely have no plans for him on the big screen....unlike bruce wayne, who the movie people will not allow the smallville to use. but theres nothing like the TV people have the copyright to character 'a' while movie guys have the copyright to character 'b'. its all owned by WB, which the TV and movie company are both a part of.

I said Levy, because as a director I think he is slightly better than Goyer, and plus I'd much rather see a light-hearted Flash movie(like the 1st Spider-man) over a darker one.But this is just my opinion,I guess I'm one of the few who believe Levy can do this film justice.

While Goyer is far from perfect, at least he's partially responsible for films I've liked(Blade, Dark City, Batman Begins). With Levy I can't make that claim because I've hated every single one of his movies. As mentioned before, Goyer is the less of two evils.

I think Levy is better for a film like The Flash. It can tap that light kids element and probably make alot of dough.

It may be a critical failure with the older fans but as long as we keep Superman and Batman mature, I'll be happy.

Goyer since hes a fan but I'm sure that is perfect for this film.

GOYER, Mr. Goyer :D

But the better choice would be... CINEMAMAN ;)

I'm not liking Levy at all. If you look at his resume all he has done is nickelodeon and disney channel crap. Is The Flash going to get screwed up like DareDevil? Or be childish like Fantastic 4? Because if thats whats going to happen i dont want them to make the movie and ruin the story.
