no, there are widescreens also. i have one ^_^

And did yours have the 10 or 21 deleted scenes? Because from what I am seeing, the fullscreen are the ones with the 21 so far .... just tying to piece it al together.... had my parents pick me up this set and mail it to me, just hoping it has the 21....

i have it with the 21 deleted scenes along with the "bogus" dvd, there really isnt a pattern, so dont even try and find one. haha

pray for god's help, with all your might, and maybe a 21 scne will drop from the skies

does someone not HAVE the bogus dvd and actually have Ratner's making of the movie?

Welcome to the Hype Side47winder.

I too got the 21 deleted scene package--which was probably the only good thing about this ordeal.

You know what? I hate to say this...but I am really, REALLY disillusioned with this franchise right now. Disgusted actually. There has been so much false advertisement and lies from the get-go on this production--and now we're being misled again with even the DVD purchases. I mean, the DVD by itself was only like $12, but I actually spent $22 for this combo. And for what? A friggin comic book documentary? C'mon!

Seriously--what the hell is going on? All of this false advertisement is a slap in the face...and an insult to their customers and fanbase. Do they honestly think we're stupid?? :o

well said - these guys are in it for the buck while we get banged...

so is it just the wal-mart full-screen version that has the "21 deleted scenes" and the widescreen version is just the comic stuff?? sorry, im just kinda confused with all the different version they are releasing and stuff~~

so let me get this straight....

all the dvds were purposly mixed up so the fans would go on a witch-hunt and spend money just to find the extra scenes.....

SO if i want to get to the extra scenes it would be impossibe and I'd just have to choose any one of them, like a lotto basically, to actually find the scenes...

wow....

I bought the tin can from target...dear god.

someone else said that they got the widescreen one from Walmart and it had all 21 scenes... so it is still hard to tell.

...so i wal-mart the only vender that carries the 21 scenes, or target has that feature too

Correct.

I also got my widescreen edition from Wal-Mart and got all 21 scenes included. Just watched a few of them last night as a matter of fact.

every single retailer carries the possibility of having the 21 scenes.
from blockbuster to virgin records

Here's a way to scam Walmart that's almost fool proof!!! What you can do is buy the DVD with the bonus disc, remove the bonus disc (because it has its own case and is wrapped next to the regular disc, which in turn, is walready wrapped seprerately) switch the UPC sticker, if you can, and return the actual movie. Then buy whatever version you want. It worked for me on this movie and it also worked for the Fantastic 4 bonus disc.

truth is nobody should have purchased this half as version... we all know a SE is due at some point...

in the "21" dleted scenes what are the extra ones? anything cool?

People have to stop looking for patterns to get the 21 deleted scenes.

IT'S RANDOM - PERIOD!

It doesn't matter the store or version.

Also, I don't think anybody got what they were supposed to get from the Wal-Mart bonus DVD. That looks like a complete/total mix-up.

FOX and Wal-Mart have to say concretely what they plan to do about it.

We are waiting.

Thankfully, LS made this thread a sticky.

I am actually quite pleased with the DVD mixup. An hour documentary on the history of the comics is far more interesting than a couple featurettes covering pretty much the same thing as the commentaries and the featurettes on the previous film DVDs did.

I actually wasn't going to get it at Wal-Mart til I read on here that the Bonus DVD was actually good for once.
