‘Big Brother: After Dark’ Moves To TVGN
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

CBS is quickly integrating basic cable network TVGN into the company. In a corporate synergy move, Big Brother: After Dark, the late-night companion show to CBS’ summer reality staple Big Brother, will now air on TVGN. The move comes two months after CBS acquired 50% of the network. Big Brother: After Dark previously aired on CBS’ other cable sibling, premium network Showtime, for seven seasons. It became an increasingly odd duck in Showtime’s lineup as the pay cable network expanded into noisy, awards-winning scripted series, but corporate synergy kept it there. Now there is another cable alternative within the CBS family, and Big Brother: After Dark should be a better fit for pop culture-focused TVGN. Big Brother: After Dark will feature a curated live feed from inside the Big Brother house for two hours, seven nights a week (12-2 AM, live ET/delayed PT) for 13 weeks beginning Wednesday, June 26. Big Brother: After Dark telecasts on TVGN will be cross-promoted on-air within the Big Brother broadcasts on CBS.

Now entering its 15th season, Big Brother will have a longer edition this summer with the new season premiering on Wednesday, June 26 (9-10 PM ET/PT). It will be broadcast three nights weekly: Tuesdays (9-10 PM ET/PT, beginning July 2); a live eviction show hosted by Julie Chen on Wednesdays (9-10 PM, live ET/delayed PT, beginning July 3); and Sundays (8-9 PM ET/PT, beginning June 30). The live eviction show will move to 8-9 PM ET/PT on July 17. Big Brother is executive produced by Emmy-winning producer Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment, in association with Endemol USA.

Julie Chen has stated on The Talk that this season will have the most house guests ever. Also, for the first time since BB 12, there will be no returning players, which actually surprises me. I figured because it was a milestone season (15), we'd be seeing an All-Star season.

So is "After Dark" still gonna be uncut?

Presumably not. I'd imagine TVGN has more restrictions than Showtime.

Oh :(

I never watched it anyway :D Chose to subscribe to HBO over Showtime

The new house and twist have been revealed:

The upcoming edition of CBS’ Big Brother will place more Houseguests in “danger” while affording America the chance to imbue one with a super-secret “power” Also: another shiny new house!

In the first of the 15th edition’s two gameplay twists, instead of two Houseguests being nominated each week for eviction, three will face the (sadly proverbial) guillotine.

In the second twist, viewers will be able to vote for a weekly “Big Brother MVP” — aka the Houseguest they feel is playing the best game. The MVP will be given a (CBS’ words) “secret power” to be revealed during the June 26 season opener. All I’m saying: X-ray vision would be extremely cool in this scenario. Yet unlikely, if only due to budget constraints.

“With America rewarding good game play, it doesn’t pay to be a floater this summer,” exec producers Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan tease in a statement.

BB15 premieres Wednesday, June 26 at 8/7c, then will air three nights weekly – Sundays at 8, Tuesdays at 9 and live eviction shows Wednesdays at 8.

But now, what you’ve really come for, a pretty slideshow of the new house, which is described (and for all I know in fact has) “a stylish mid-century modern chic design. Though all I see is “outdoor pool table!”

I always hate when they do crap where they let America Vote to give someone some advantage like that stupid Coup D'etat that they used a couple seasons ago to save Jeff and Jordan.

The new house looks cool though!

At this point, I can't even care about the twists they do anymore, or I'll just be pissed off all the time.

America vote = Big Brother Chooses

The choice of the Coaches becoming Houseguests was such an obvious fraud last year. There's no way they weren't going to make that happen.

America vote = Big Brother Chooses

Exactly. It's all just a way for production to manipulate the show to go the way they want it too.

That's been a problem with Big Brother since forever.

Ugh... Rachel's sister is one of the contestants. :o

Can't really tell. But she does have the over-done makeup and crazy eyes. :o

I like the 3rd nomination twist.

Rachel's sister Elissa is gorgeous. Much better looking than her sister.

The 3 nominee twist is great. Thats how they do it in UK

David...*****e. I hope he is out first.

That BB MVP twist is gonna be good. I like how they are switching things up after being so predictable

Yep. After Dark is censoring profanity now. This is terrible.

I skipped last season of BB, but I think I'll give this one a go. I'm not completely invested in any of the players just yet, but I'm really interested to see how far the guys get this year... They all seem to be in great shape and Andy keeps boasting he's a "Super-fan", so I'm really looking forward to see how he does in Q&A competitions.

I see Rachel in her sisters face. It's ridiculous. None of the women really stand out thus far, Except for Helen, Helen seems like she may go far.

It was just a sea of big bust lines and high-volume hair. No real talk of game play just yet, which is to be expected. What's the deal with Jessi, though? Sure she's attractive, that's more or less a prerequisite for all female players and almost all male players on BB. But you would swear that she thought she was Gods gift to man with the way she goes on about herself. "Girls usually have a problem with me, because I'm so good looking." I'm paraphrasing, but that's basically what she said. So far the most appealing aspect she's got going for her is her backside.

Ahem...
