Both Big Hero 6 and Spiderverse were originally from Marvel Comics, and both properties were adapted by Disney and Sony respectively into successful motion pictures. They even won the Academy Award for Best Animated Film. Should we considered these movies to be associated with Marvel as well? Personally, I don't see why not; without Marvel Comics, we won't have Big Hero 6 and Spiderverse in the first place, isn't it?

Like, as in part of the mcu? I mean obviously they’re marvel

of course they are associated with Marvel because they arebased from Marvel Comics. They didnt won Though because of Marvel but because of the content. A lot of Marvel animated films are ****, so I guess this even things more.

Spidey is (obviously) still a Marvel character. But Big Hero 6 was fully taken over by Disney and the team is no longer a Marvel property. Marvel is not credited on the Big Hero 6 film, TV series or licensed merchandise.
