I can see the resemblance. I wouldn't mind if he actually plays Thanos in the sequel. He has a good voice for it and he has experience working under prosthetic make up.

I think Thanos was created using motion capture. Judging by that actor's facial profile and Thanos' during the mid-credits scene, it certainly wouldn't be hard to believe they used Damion Poitier as the base.

Nope. Its been known since like january he was a prosthetic and cgi.

The guy here who worked on set posted a blury picture of the prosthetic being used for thanos. He said he saw it being applied to the actor. But everyone accused him of trolling and not being legit. Except me :P.

Turns out he was right.
