Bishop's Powers in Cable

Has anyone else noticed that whenever Bishop is redirecting energy in the new Cable series, it's this translucent-ish purple-pink ring?

Never been like that before.

Yeah, Olivetti renders Bishop's powers in a strange way. Although it may have been stemming from whatever powers the arm had.
