I looked around for a thread on this and didn't find one. So, I figured I'd start one for everyone to post in.

Basically, any videogame related deals for Black Friday should go in here. I've been having a difficult time finding any so far...I know it'll get easier as the weeks will pass, but it'd be best to put it into one thread here in the Multiplatform section.

Dunno if it's confirmed, but the rumors I've found are:

Toys R Us will be keeping all but two "specials" at the normal prices on Black Friday, listing only a "Nintendo DS Princess Peach Value Pack" (a metallic rose-colored DS with a copy of Super Princess Peach), and a "Nintendo DS Star Wars Value Pack" (a black DS bundled with Star Wars The Force Unleashed) for $159.97 each.

Sears, on the other hand, has a number of specials that will be available - many of which will only be available on a "first come, first served" basis when the doors open early on November 28.

First, any Xbox 360 system will come with a free Xbox 360 wireless controller. Secondly, there will be a number of Guitar Hero 3 bundles on offer (note, that's Guitar Hero 3, not the new game) for the remarkable price of just $54.99 on Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Sears will also be carrying the new limited edition Nintendo DS' on Black Friday, priced at $149.99. The "Mario Red" DS will be (surprise) bright red, wil carry Mario's "M" emblem on the back and a copy of New Super Mario Bros. The "Ice Blue" DS (pictured) will be colored accordingly, and come bundled with a copy of the original Brain Age.

The vast majority of video games software and hardware will be on sale at the normal price, however Sears will be carrying "Value Video Games" (they are not specified in the leaked flyer) at a discounted price of 20 percent off.

I'm looking for some DS's to pick up. I'm debating on waiting for the DSi but, I want some hand held action now. I hope Rock Band goes down a grip, with the guitar included cause I've wanted it for a hot minute now. Last year there was a big thing posted on where all the deals where - store listings and the deals followed at the bottom.

Well....that Guitar Hero bundle sounds pretty damn good to me. Yeah, even though it's the previous version...but the DLC must balance things out I'd say.

Not a Black Friday special but Circuit City is liquidating so they might have stuff on sale. I think most of it will only be 10% though.

Any deals on "Call of Duty World At War" or "Fable II"?

There's pretty much no chance of those games being on sale.

Wait till after Black Friday...thats when the good videogame deals usually come. I got Call of Duty 4 last year for $27.99 at Best Buy. They had it on sale for $37.99 plus I had a $10 off any PS3 game coupon. Other new games that I remember in that same sale Assasins Creed, Need for Speed Prostreet, NBA 2k8 and Orange Box I believe these ran around Christmas week or the week after

:wow: shnap, I'd like to get in on those deals. Especially CoD 4 and some other joints. Hopefully some more deals will pop up this week.

I just got an LG 52LG70 52" LCD 120Hz 1080p HDTV today from Video Only for only $1599.99. I got them to come down $100 from the original price too!

It's an amazing TV.

So, basically, what I'm trying to say is that you don't need to wait for Black Friday for an amazing deal. Also, black friday deals at major retailers like Best Buy are on older models or less reliable, lower quality electronics (HDTV's, Home Theater systems, etc).

Yeah, I got Call of Duty 4 in that sale, it was Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas I think, maybe longer. Call of Duty and Fable might go on sale right before Christmas, but I doubt on Black Friday, they haven't been released long enough. Stores give discounts on certain items to get people in the stores to buy things like games and accessories.

Black Friday pickings were pretty slim this year. I got a few good deals though. I got Bioshock for $20, Pure for $30, and a wireless guitar for only $7 from amazon. I got the wireless guitar for my wife who loves Guitar Hero but complains because I don't want to play with her with my regular controller. So now we'll be able to play together as long as this new guitar works well enough. I also finally got a blu-ray remote control for my ps3 for about $7.

Hope people waited bc there have been tons of deals on recent games. Many have been on sale for either $39.99 or $44.99 in the weeks after BF. BB even has CoD WaW for the 360 for $35 this week. Game shopping tends to be better post-BF
