Black Mask and Hush are similar Batman villains in that they both have a history with Bruce Wayne since childhood. If Nolan had to go with one or the other for a third movie, which would you like to see more and why?

none of them. both black mask and hush are boring, uninspired villains. there are at least 10 other villains I´d prefer to see in a sequel before black mask or hush should be anywhere near

I think Black Mask could be adapted well to the big screen. As we have seen before, Nolan is open to tweaking the characters to fit his vision.

But NO Hush. He may look cool but he has one of the worst origins and motives to be a villain ever. "Ohh your mum and dad died but my mum and dad lived!! I'm going to kill you now!". Yea, that's a realistic motivation to become a super-villain...

I think both characters would adapt well. Not sure which one I'd choose.

If they are gonna have Hush, they could just as much make up a new villian for the movie.

Well, seeing as how they almost had a talking skull in TDK, then Black Mask it is!:woot:

Woah, 7-0. Poor Hush.

Black Mask by a mile.

Hush is a weak character. Most ridiculous reasons for hating Batman.

Black Mask. Even the name "hush" sounds weak.

QFT.

Unless Hush had major renovations (and was already featured as a child in Batman Begins, if they stuck to his original background story), I don't care to see him.

My idea for Hush was that he should be Alberto Falcone committing some sort of Long Halloween-style murders.

What? Hush? I don't want a villain originally drawn by Jim Lee. Screw that. Black Mask is the obvious choice.

Neither Hush nor Black Mask... I've never liked them.

Black Mask. Hush would be a nightmare to adapt.

Black Mask definitely. Thought he's never been high on my list of favorite villains, he's a hell of a lot better than one of Batman's worst villains, Hush.

I would take Crazy Quilt over Hush.:o

Black Mask. I much prefer that Nolan use villains with already made, good storylines and origins that he can craft into his movie. However, with Black Mask Nolan has an opportunity to take the villain and do with whatever he wishes, change what he wants and not upset too many fans. A complete Nolan-made villain. However, if he were to make too many changes to say Joker, Riddler or Catwoman people would have a cow.

I'll admit the concept of Black Mask is not too unique. Even his name is pretty much a no-brainer. Still though I think there is room there is enough room to really have some fun with the character and make a very unique, unsettling villain. If they think like they did when they designed Scarecrow and Joker, and make sure to give the character some little quirks they can come up with something really cool.

Hush on the other hand....The way I see it, his story is so convoluted you would essentially have to bastardize the character just to use him, and if that is the case, why bother when he could just be replaced by Black Mask in almost any situation.

I would prefer both of them fighting for control of Gotham Crime lord with Batman trying to stop them.

But if I got to choose one it's BLack Mask.

Black Mask.

Hush looks like a Tusken Raider.

Black Hush FTW!! or or or Hush Mask!!!

QFT!!!

Black Mask is just Oswald Copplebot tricked out to seem "badass." Penguin is the same type of villain but much more interesting

Hush i've never even bothered reading about

I voted for Hush lol b/c he needs some love. Hush is clearly not one of the strongest rouges, but I don't get all the hate for him.

His motive is he's mad Bruce's parents died and became Batman instead of him....

How can you like him?

Is this from Hush or something else, b/c from his origin book I just gathered that he hated Batman b/c his parents died and he got their money. Meanwhile he tried to kill his parents and failed. IDK maybe I have misunderstood all this time.
