Dude looks like Beanie Sigel pre weight loss.
Coming to Netflix Sep 4. Between this and Ragnarok also on Netflix, it's a nice double feature of the MCU.
If you just look at the number of people into cosplay, wearing the BP costume, you can judge how popular he is compared to the rest. Of course, the fact that as a character, he's been around since 1966 helps a lot also. Iron Man in the comics was a B level hero, the movie made him popular. Same goes for BP. But I will always take to task, people who try and make this one movie, the Black Panther mythos. No one tries to do that with Spider-Man. The comics are always the HOLY GRAIL!
Long Live the King fo Wakanda
when is Coogler starting Wrong Answer with MBJ? i had saw MBJ is filming Just Mercy with Brie Larson and Jamie Foxx this month. Once he finishes that, I assume they start WA and I would guess BP pre-production beginning mid 2019 or later.
That seems about right, although I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel has already done some initial pre-production for some of the other potential Phase 4 films.
Chadwick Boseman: 'Black Panther' Aiming for Best Picture — Not New "Popular Oscar"
Apparently we're supposed to be getting black panther 2 news this month. Most likely confirmation that Ryan Coogler is returning and maybe a rough release date. Like "Black Panther 2 arrives in 2021" or something. Pretty sure its that Feb 2021 date. However is there a chance they could have moved up the sequel given the Guardians 3 situation?
Grimey, he really does though LMAO.
I'm pretty sure Feb 2021 or even May 2021. I'd imagine any earlier might lead to a feeling of burnout slightly.
The film’s now on Netflix.
Rewatching on Netflix. Still don’t understand why Killmonger waited to kill Klaue until after he broke him out rather than right away if the whole point was to use his dead body to get into Wakanda.
I've always read it as a political stunt, a way to draw out and humiliate T'Challa and undermine the people's confidence in him. Get Klaue to publicly expose himself in a way that would attract the attention of the Wakandans and the sitting Black Panther/T'Challa specifically - whom Killmonger knows from personal experience goes out into the world for vibranium retrieval missions like these - and then intercept them and steal back Klaue. Then he can boast about how he was one to capture Wakanda's most wanted man where the new king abjectly failed and use that as political leverage.
I can buy that

It's the gift that keeps on giving.
I sure hope the cast and crew got some nice bonuses from Marvel and Disney
If Captain Marvel opens BIG (I'm sure they're hoping for $800 million worldwide); this def shows BP is the lead character (okay maybe 2nd after Spider-Man) for the series going post-A4.
I am pretty sure T'Challa is going to easily be their most pushed character post Avengers 4. Even more so than Spider-Man. Why? Because they don't share T'Challa.
I see T'Challa getting pushed more because of the whole rights thing with Sony
I can't wait until T'Challa meets Carol
