I would defintely be up for this. forget the debacle of 3 and go back to basics

the movie is 'blade' and that's who I am paying to see.

c) keep the nightstalkers the hell away from the movie
nuff said

d) ignore blade 3 and everything associated with it.
it didn't happen.

e) give him a villian worthy on him

Im not surprised to hear Snipes say he is interested considering what kind of condition his career has been in.

Nevertheless, I wouldnt mind seeing it.

Id definitely welcome a new Blade movie. Something gritty and underground like the 1st one, with the camera work of the second one, but maybe not so much fantasy like del toro went for. Keep the hiphop/techno theme.

Something tells me that new line will look to go ahead without snipes though. He burned some bridges there.

I don't think anyone but snipes can manage the sarcastic, sardonic homour of blade. snipes made blade, BLADE. he was a rubbish comic character before snipes movie. so even though people like MJW and sticky have the build and possibly the look they wont 'act' or talk like blade.

there is a classic moment in blade one where blade pins a vampire to a wall and then punches the air or when he enters the club and smiles as he walks towards a room full of vampies. as far as I'm concerned it has to be snipes or doesn't bother.

I agree: i like the idea of a Blade 4. And i agree with u to back to basics (Blade 1/Blade 2's atmosphere) and focus only on the main character.

It would be cool if Blade in this movie found his mysterious origins. You know in the movies we know only that his mother was dead (and be back as a vampire) after he's born, that he's a daywalker and he's met Whistler when he's a teenager. In this movie Blade (Snipes) must discover his past or remember it to share with us audience woot.

I know the tv series has discover some "origins" but...This is different. This is a Blade movie with Snipes, f**k the series

In the comics he has a mentor when he was young: Jamal Afari. And a girlfriend, Glory. In movies we know Whistler met Blade when he was young and was desperatly in street. But why? In this movie Blade must share with us that he was a normal young boy after the deceased of his mother. That he was adopted by Jamal and met a beautiful girl, Glory, which he falls in love with. But when vampires (it would be cool a Stephen Dorff's cameo as Deacon Frost) discover his true nature or something else, they try to kill Blade (but he's run away) and kill Glory and Jamal. So Blade grown in street, with the vampire's side in him and he met Whistler. It would be cool if Blade share that with some badass flash-back.

Villain? Morbius, off course. These movies needs Morbius as a main villain. Maybe Blade go in his original hometown to fight Morbius, a new supervampire (the living vampire) but he met also Morbius' girlfriend and here starts flash-back about his death girlfriend, Glory.

P.s. yeah, Nightstalkers are over. Keep they away from this movie!

Focusing on Deacon Frost is a baad idea. He was such a one dimensional villain. Stephen Dorff is a boring actor and was very annoying to me in the 1st Blade movie.

In fact I want Morbius as a villain.

In my pseudo-story i'd want Deacon Frost (Dorff) to make a cameo in a flash-back when it's explain why Eric Brooks became "Blade".

I would definately be on board for a Blade 4, Trinity left such a sour note on the franchise and we need to go out on a movie better than that, only with Snipes though, I hate him as a person but he is Blade.

a movie with morbious is going to be very similar to the blade 2 movie i.e. a vampire that isn't a vampire who is a threat to both humans and vampires, and you know what I couldn't care less.

morbious is a character I really like, he isn't going to appear in SM or DD so fling him in blade. that would be freaking AWESOME!!

I can see this movie happening because frankly snipes needs the movie and sure snipes was a *****e but I'm sure movie studios have worked with bigger arse****

Reteam with Fuqua!! Please go see Brooklyn's Finest, 'cause the whole movie is on point. Wesley just has a supporting role, but it's still very solid work on his part.

this should be embraced. treat it like the dark knight returns i.e the foes are young (and in the case of the vampires aren't going to get any older) but blade is getting older all the time.

Definitely they can do something like the original take on what they wanted to do for Blade 3 when Del Toro was still involved on the project. Pretty much the premise is that Blade laid low for many years. They can incorporate that he lay low because he was on the run from the law still from Blade Trinity. While Blade was gone all that time the Vampire numbers have increased putting the humans at serious danger. So a human maybe Dr. Karen finds Blade to convince him to come out of retirement/hiding to fight the vampires once more. I think it will put the movies back in full circle having Blade with Karen again without Whistler.

Just from that alone could be lots of drama, from Blade getting cured and love interest, the Vampire villains etc. Hopefully they could bring Jeff Ward back Stunt Coordinator from the first two movies back to make some hardcore action scenes.

Daybreakers stole the idea that Goyer had orginally had for Blade 3...At least from what I saw. Personally I think Goyer changed the story cause he knew he couldn't handle such a huge story like that as a director.

I'd actually like to see either 1)a Blade story that happenss BEFORE the events of Blade:Trinity- that way Whistler would be in it, or 2)have the whole Vampire Apocalypse story that was rumored where the vampires have completely taken over the world, set in the near future. I don't know what continuity they're going from as far as Blade aging like a human from the movies, or being immortal as stated in the tv series, but a movie set about 15 years in the future would be cool. The Vamps would be in total control, and Blade would be kinda like a Bin Laden type character. He'd be the worlds most hunted 'terrorist' and the vamps only threat.

I'm so happy that Snipes is open to another movie.
