Things aren't looking good for Wesley Snipes. It's being reported (on MSNBC) that he owes the IRS $12M in back taxes. And to make things worse, they (the Feds) can't seem to find him. One of the guests on MSNBC said that jail time is a real possibility and he faces up to 30 years in prison if he doesn't take care of this matter.

Red Fox thinks Wesly is totally in the wrong here.

He can't make it up w/all that "Blade Trinity" money? :D

Definitely seems like Wesley's in deep ****.

My thoughts exactly. I just read the article from USA Today. You can never get past the IRS. Snipes should have paid taxes. He was in a lot of hit movies in the 90s....it was not like he didn't have the money at the time.

Everyone check this out...

Unfortunatly (etly?) Word from the IRS is that
The Carter and G-Money will be seized in 90 days.

Is Scotty Appleton leading the investigation?

Scotty Is going to have a tough time, because Speaking on Wesly's behalf are beloved R&B has been's Kieth Sweat, AL. B. Sure AND the Rev. Ashford.:woot:

It was Christopher Williams, not Al B. Sure.

I know-but you know 'I'm dreamin' was just a poor re-rendering of AL's hit.:o

Blade : Wanted By The Feds

was the series that bad

There's nothing more disappointing that hearing about brothas like Wes and Ron Isley evading their taxes. It's ridiculous! I really wish Wesley would get his career back on track, 'cause he was primed to be one of those standout black actors in Hollywood. The man could do drama, comedy, and hardcore action movies like Blade and the somewhat underrated Art of War.

I've always had issues with him as a person, so in that regard, I can't have THAT much sympathy for his recent trouples, as he's brought it on himself.

And in other news, they're gonna be seizing all those silver glaives, bullets & stakes.

Maybe he should have his black entertainer buddies to do a telethon in his honor to raise money to keep him out of prison & call it either Wesley-Aide or WesleyStock.

I think the last straw was declaring the 'Blade-Cave' as a tax shelter and Whistler as a dependant. Yea and all through his days as a NY cop he kept blown the King of New York all this Ish!! Tha nerve.

Let's not forget the money he made as a jazz musician & an architect. Though he probably lost half the architect money in the divorce.

How about make another Blade movie and hand his payment over to the Feds?

Why is it, rich people have such a hard time paying they're taxes???

Because most wouldn't be so rich if they had to dish out X amount of millions of $'s on a yearly basis to the IRS. Not every actor/actress gets a big payday of 20+million per film like Julia Roberts, Adam Sandler, & Jim Carrey.

When was the last time a celebrity got sentanced to 30 years? All he'll get is a fine and 3 months probation. Judge will tell him "don't do that again"

Don't be so sure; they slammed Ron Isley & Redd Foxx. Three letters you don't f**k with are the I, the R & the S.

Partly b/c they have to do it themselves. See, you & I don't have to worry about it b/c our bosses take the taxes out for us. Celebrities have to actually send the money in & that's where these stupid little stunts come into play.

Yeah, that'll happen. Around the same time "Catwoman 2" comes out.
