Blade

I greatly enjoyed Blade 1 and even Blade 2....the third was an abomination.

 

Blade 2 next! Blaaaade Daaaay.

 

Part one was the best, both in aesthetic and in conceptual adaptation.
The latter is pretty much why I had high hopes for goyers take on Batman unfortunately the direction was as "cool"

For the walk to the attire, Wes really kicked butt in this role.
Strangely enough the tone harkened back to the early tone of the first ninja turtles movie.

 

Blade is an underrated franchise.

 

Seeing blood makes me squeemish, but Blade is still one of my favorite films. That's how much I love it.

 

The first two Blade films are really good. The third films is bad , but somewhat enjoyable. I hope they do a fourth with Snipes someday.

 

Blade 1 & 2, are classics, 3 is $h#t.

 

I was watching Dracula 2000 the other night and thought that if one were to write out the Johnny Lee Miller character, give the script some direction and give Dracula some actual motivation(that is, play upon the notion that Dracula, while not admitting it, actually just wants Christ to forgive him) that requires giving Van Helsing's daughter more to do than just being a damsel in distress turned superficial badass, it would make a pretty killer Blade movie. Certainly a better Blade vs Dracula film that Blade Trinity.

 

Blade 1 is a classic. Blade 2 is nice. Still waiting for Blade 3 to happen.

I liked Blade 1. Sure it has it's issues with a bit of unnecessarily over the top acting and such but still all in all a very memorable film. Blade 2 I can barely remember no matter how much I watch it. Very forgettable, IMO. And I never saw Blade 3 after I heard it was crap.

 

i really wish we got Morbius with the second film.

 

Blade 1 and 2 are great. Blade 1 did 'bullet time' before The Matrix, which gets forgotten a lot so I just thought I'd throw it in here.

Blade 3 wasn't all bad, in my opinion. The only really, truly horrible part was the nonsense with Jessica Biel listening to her iPod. That whole scene was awfully hamfisted. Other than that it wasn't as good as 1 or 2, but I still enjoy it well enough.

 

Blade always makes my top 10 movies and top 3 comic book movies.

To me it's a action genre classic with the likes of Robocop and Predator. I know many don't rate it as highly but I don't care. I love the movie.

Blade 2 was just meh. It didn't really capture the real world allegory and slick storytelling that made Blade 1 work for me.

 

in part one, blade was the sold as what was needed to fight vampires, he was pretty much the only one that could is what it seemed like. Then in part 3, some girl can do the job, and on her ipod no less.

 

I love Blade. I saw Blade 2 once a long time ago, thought it was ok. Never watched Blade Trinity.

What is up with that 4th Blade film that's on some collections? Was it the TV series pilot or something?

Blade one is fantastic. Top 10 comic movies ever. Blade 2 was a great follow-up. I enjoyed the first one more but the second is right there. I don't know why it's so forgotten. I want blade 4
