BLM Protests Across The World

Imagine having to explain white supremacists are bad.

The idea that any cop should be given the judgement for when they turn their bodycam on, is one of the most obvious BS ideas of all time. The LAPD destroyed theirs and no one punished them for it. How can anyone justify that idea?
Body cams are pointless if they’re not going to be kept permanently on. That they would want to turn them off is an admission of guilt by itself.

[eye twitches]

The Louisville police chief has been fired. Last night during the protests, a store owner was shot. The governor wanted to review the body cam video....and was told that the police had not turned them on, so there was no video.

If there is no bodycam footage of cops abusing their power and assaulting or even murdering people, there is no accountability. There is no protection from their brutality. That is bull****. They aren't trying to protect people's privacy, they are trying to hide their crimes and everyone knows it.

That a mayor would defend cops macing children is reprehensible. A police chief letting his officers commit crimes because they don't have their bodycams on at least got him fired. There should be murder charges for the cops who shot and killed that shop owner.

That's nice. What party were the murdering cops aligned with?

The party individual cops vote for is more important than the party that gives them their orders?

Both Democratic and Republican governors are sending the National Guard and state police in to attack protesters. Both parties defend the interests of the capitalist class and see the majority of the population as the enemy.

An Open Letter From Veterans to Recently Activated National Guard Troops

We urge you to have the courage to do the right thing. Refuse activation orders.

No amount of property is worth a single human life. Are you really prepared to carry out the violence President Trump threatened against Minnesotans and others? We ask that you stand up for Black lives by standing down. We know the consequences you may face for disobeying orders. Many of us have faced them ourselves. And many of us live with the consequences of following orders we shouldn’t have, and can tell you that the cost of moral injury is far greater.

There is a long legacy of troops choosing what’s right over what’s ordered. You are not alone in your convictions.

I found a longer clip. He talks all proudly of 700 arrest, with only 70 tied to looting and violence. Does this dumbass not realize he just admitted they arrested 630 people for simply protesting?
