I noticed that when Spider-man was shot, they showed him leaving a bloody mark on a wall. The camera noticeably lingered on it.

Anyone else think that might be important? Clones? Or was it just a lingering shot to show he was wounded?

It was definitely there to show the audience that he was shot and bleeding badly

Oh my god people are taking so much into just one simple shot.

I will say this once more, it's like when people thought it was someone special when they lingered on that prisoner getting his picture taken in Iron Man 2.

clones are a bit of a stretch but, a clue to someone learning his identity maybe

leaving both finger prints an a DNA sample behind

It wasn't just blood, it was a bloody handprint.

Pretty sure its a reference to his DNA, which will be utilized in the sequel.

Morbius flies into frame and sexually licks up the blood.

I don't think the shot really meant anything else but that he was badly wounded. (close the thread)

What do I get if it shows up in the sequel?

Always funny when some random guy tells me to close a thread. Like they're a mod or something.

An invaluable Marvel no-prize! And bragging rights, of course.

ok sorry. But it really didn't linger in a way that it would have an impact in a sequel. Certainly not impossible, but unlikely.

No big deal. I may be overthinking it. But the cops will still be looking for Spider-man. And he did bleed very close to them.

Could be nothing. But this movie does seem to be planning quite a bit ahead, so you never know.

What good does the blood do the cops, though? There isn't a DNA databank like there is with fingerprints. It only helps them if they suspect Peter Parker and they get a sample of Peter's DNA to cross-check it with.

I dunno, when I saw the handprint my first thought was using it to find out who Spider-Man is. I already thought he was badly wounded.. because.. ya know.. he got shot.
