Well, there are a couple of insiders on GAF that have been saying for a while now that From is working on a Playstation-exclusive sequel/spin-off of the Souls series. These leaked shots are believed to be from that project.

 

it looks interesting, and would make a nice PS exclusive.

although, as I'm not a huge fan of the Souls series, I hope it's not a carbon copy of those games ( in a different setting ).

 

I don't know why people would want that. King's Field was like the Souls games, except in first-person, and not as good.

 

Don't get me wrong, I don't want them to make a carbon copy of the Souls games. I do hope they try some new things.

I thought Dark Souls you claimed to be your favorite?

I like all three of them, and Demon Souls has with out a doubt the best artwork.

 

I think Dark Souls is the better game, but Demon's Souls just has such great atmosphere, and as you said, incredible art design.

Looks incredible. I loved Demon Souls and this looks to be very much in the same vein. Can't wait for E3!!!

I hope not. Souls games are superb. And you can tell it's a Souls game. I'm betting it's Demon's Souls 2.

 

It's obviously cut from the same cloth, but I hope it's somewhat different as well. I don't want the Souls games to wear out their welcome.
