[/SIZE]I was going to do as many as i did for the hottest 100 actresses but i am going to save 100 for like movies or favorite 100 tv shows or something. The differance with the top 80 actors is that well i am not nessasarily going for hotness rather for male great movie performances. The actors ofcourse will be ones that are working today. Like the 100 actress thing i don't expect anyone to come up with 80 lists 25-50 will do.

My mistake was ranking them i suppose. Each person has there favorites and its a pitty i am being judge just because i had the wrong placing order. I indeed did not go randomly for i kinda had who on the list in mind before i started. If you guys can do better by all means. As for Jim Carrey he burned out a long time ago as a comedian.

I re edited my list to a hopefully more liked version. I somtimes like actors basd on movies. I think its a much improved list. I like australian and british actors the best personally.

Not really. Bale is in no way near those guys. I'm sorry, but those guys inspired every generation of actors who followed them (including Bale and just about every actor on that list), have starred in some of the most influential and groundbreaking films in cinema, and have between them 20+ Oscar nomiantions. Only their previous generations (Brando, Heston, Bogart, Peck, Stewart, Grant, etc.) have matched their impact. I hardly think any one-dimenisonal actor can pull that off. Bale is just emerging from the underground / fanboy favorite shell he had been languishing under before Batman Begins.

I never said Bale was the best or greatest actorit was a broad statement covering acting in general
