An article here in Australia bagged the movie. It made reference to a 'blopper' in the first 10 minutes and said 'see radio dial'.I know the scene and after 3 screenings (haven't seen the movie since reading the article) don't know what they mean.

Anyone?

Can you post the article?

The only Australian article I've read is the 4 1/2 star review from the Herald Sun

4.5 stars. what. its not worth 4.5 stars. i agree with david and margarets review of 3- 3.5,
this was not a special movie. jsut another style over substance superhero flick. dissapointing.
i am yet to read a negative review about it in the australian press though.
i just cannot overlook the terribly weak story that doesnt bode well for sequels as the route singer and Co have taken this franchise with superkid and the triangle between supes, lois and supernice guy is not what i am looking forward to.
batman begins 2 on the other hand......man i cant wait.

While many people agree with your negative comments, there is also a lot that don't.

Bloopers don't make a movie bad. Most people don't notice most of them. For example, look at the ones for Batman Begins:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372784/goofs

"Anachronisms: The cell phone Rachel uses wasn't available during or before 1989 (the film is a prequel to the original film, which took place in 1989.)"

These people are idiots.

I enjoy the goofs and trivia section of IMDb a LOT, but some of them are beyond anal, especially when they talk about the color of paint on a cop car or some stop sign that wasn't used until 8 years later.

The best goof is the stormtrooper hitting his head on the door in the Death Star in Star Wars. It was so famous, Lucas not only added sounds to it, but made a reference to it in AOTC when Jango Fett bangs his head, like it's a problem with the master of the clones.

Let me stop you there skippy, Batman Begins is a restart..a reboot, not a prequel.. shouldn't call a person an idiot,

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but when Lois tells Luthor that Superman is going to deal with Lex and then he yells "WRONG!" you can see Jason flinch as it's obvious they were rehearsed.

Continuity: At the beginning of the film, Clark wakes up in his bed. There is a close-up of his eyes. They are brown. However, during the rest of the film, Clark's eyes are blue.

Hadn't thought about that one... that's pretty lazy.

Continuity: When the series of tremors causes the globe on top of The Daily Planet Headquarters to topple and fall, Superman catches it and places it on a car. When he flies away that night, at the end of the movie, and the camera spans Metropolis behind him, it sits in its original position on top of the Headquarters.

Hmm... I was under the impression that he was in the hospital for days? Maybe I just assumed that...

No, no, no!
He wasn't calling the film a prequel, it was a quote IMDB that called it a prequel.
And they are idiots, for thinking it is a prequel. I don't think Bale's Batman evolved into that crappy batman. What next? Are they gonna say batman and robin was a prequel to the 60's Batman show?

Nope, you're right. did these people actually watch the film? or just look for bloopers.

I thought his eyes were blue, it was just really dark.

I have blue eyes and in dark light they can look brown, or even black.
