Around here this films was quite popular, i remember it also airing a lot of times on TV, and when it came out it was quite successful, spawning some imitators.
It's a film most seem to know about, but is never discussed, so i would like to know if it's good or not, Rottentomatoes has it at 12%, some nostalgia seems to have carried over modern times, but the rating is still pretty terrible.
The film had a sequel many years later
As well as a direct to TV pseudo-remake
I can actualy see how the concept could have some apeal to young adults, surprised they haven't milked this more than they did.
