Hi,

Just bought my first blu-ray player...Toshiba.

So far 2 movies skipped then the audio became un-sync with the video.

Then when I rewind it...they go BACK TO SYNC and back to normal.

It happens midway on both movies.

Is this normal???

Is Toshiba a great brand for blu-ray?? What's the best brand for blu-ray??

Thanks

I prefer Pioneer and Samsung for Blu-ray, but that's neither here nor there.

Return the blu-ray player and exchange it for a new one. Seems like a defective unit. If it does the same thing again, go with a different brand.

Also, your player (depending on when it was manufactured) might need a firmware update.

thanks!!!

I will definitely return it.

The firmware update means the blu-ray connected online right??

I'm partial to Panasonic and Pioneer for Blu-Ray.

try the firmware update first and see if that corrects the issue. If not, definitely take it back for a new one.

Yes.

Or you can download the update and burn it to a DVD (if you have a DVD burner on your computer).

Or... you can always ring the manufacturer of the player and ask them to snail-mail you a firmware update.
