BODIES...The Exhibition

Celebrate the wonder of the human form in the World Premier
of BODIES … The Exhibition—a phenomenal look at the phenomena
we call the human body.

With educational relevance for all ages, this exhibition
of real human specimens immerses visitors in the complexities
of the human body, telling us the amazing story of ourselves
with reverence and understanding.

Has anyone gone to this yet? It's getting ready to come to a close here, and I'll be needing to get off my ass and go, very soon.

Road Trip.
I just bought my ticket for Friday.

Been to it. Human Anatomy 101, if it were fascinating.

I went to their first show in Belgium when I went there.

I went to it when it was in Chicago...damn it was awesome. :o

aww man...

i thought it was a buffet or something.

its in my town right now actually, i was considering going, everyone is in an uproar about it because no one knows who these chinese people are that are dead and preserved, no family members came to claim them at all. looks cool, but i doubt any of my friends would be interested.

They came to Toronto, i didn't get a chance to see it but my friends have and said it was like they were alive.

At first, I read "BOOBIES ... The Exhibition" and I was all excited.

Now I'm not. :(

So when Ed Gein digs up dead people and makes lampshades out of them it's sick but when some wierd guy plastifies them and makes them play poker and **** it's OK.

i thought this was gonna be about those people that line up naked in public places for the sake of art.

If I do go, I'll be looking out for coat check keys on the card table.

I was hoping for something kinky but I got insides instead.

I saw it when it was in Chicago few years back. They have a section with dead baby fetuses. Its...interesting to say the least.

it was or still is in vegas

Yup. Never found the time to go, though. As someone fascinated by human biology, it might have been interesting.

It came really close to me, but I never got to go to see it.

I'm not sure if I'm disappointed or not.

I was halfway hoping that this would be about an art show based on the Drowning Pool song Bodies, just so I could then say truthfully that that song has been used in everything...

Jupp, cause Mister Gein got the bodies post mortem, as in "I dug them out without their or their families consent" while the Exhibits in BODIES have been technically (unproven scandals aside) freely given.

It's kinda gross, as all the bodies look like slabs of Thanksgiving meats.

Yeah, I went and took my gf because she tends to want to "learn" on her birthday. Another birthday, we went to Williamsburg. I tend to want to "unlearn" during my birthdays. :o

But I digress, I thought I'd be grossed out but it is fascinating.

It's funny that all the Bodies Exhibits aren't the same people. I went to the South Street Seaport in NYC one which I was told is not affiliated with the one in Philadelphia.
