I've just watched DoFR and it made me think, in the final present (when wolverine comes back to the future and sees everyone in Xavier's school) does he have adamantium on his skeleton or are his claws made of bone...? I'm afraid I didn't catch it. What do you think?

They didn't say. All we know is before he woke up he was a history teacher. So maybe he never lost his memory. So maybe by extension Stryker never got to coat his bones and shoot him in the head.

The scene when Logan is pulled out of the water, Stryker takes him.
So yes, safe to say he has adamantium skeleton.

Actually,
Mystique takes him.

I hope he has his adamantium though. I hate bone claws. Hate them.

Same. Bone claws are boring. I loved how this film kinda showed how useless they were in the fight against the Sentinels.

Yea, I wasn't too sure about this either.

Mystique takes him. So maybe she has some plans to get the metal back in him?

Apocalypse was the one who gave Wolverine back his adamantium after Magneto ripped it out in the comics. So, there's that possibility.

Adamantium claws make allll the difference.

:awesome: Great insight that could be something for the next movie, I never thought about that.

Some of my theories.. Since Wolverine was involved in the DC incident, Mystique mustve posed as Stryker get custody over Wolverine. She could've did that to save him because she found him attractive or maybe...

What if Mystique was infiltrating Trask at first? Maybe she was looking for information on mutants but things took a turn when she found out Trask killed Azazel and the others which detoured her plans and caused her to seek revenge. Since she let Trask go at the end perhaps she went back to locating mutants of interest and thought Wolverine was special enough to take the her employer.. Apocalypse! Or it could've been for information on Azazel and the others she promised to deliver a promising mutant. Seems plausible

Mystique in the 1970's would have no clue who Wolverine is or that he would ne day have metal bones. At most, she saw him briefly with Charles and Erik in Paris and again at DC.

Either Mystique or Apocalypse will give him the adamantium. Here's a link to my Wolverine will be the Horseman Death thread:

Also, in 1959 Stryker was experimnting with mutants. The Weapon X program would have been in 1979 (at least semi-retconned), which means that the technology was likely already there (as far as plans) during the events of Days of Future Past, which happened in 1973. Likely Stryker knew where/about the special metal, which means Mystique would be able to find that information/find the metal/give Wolvie his metal. Same could be said for a storyline where Mystique is working for Apocalypse and he is the one to give Logan the adamantium.

As cool as it would be to see Logan with a sword as the Horseman Death, him having the adamantium will make the battle pretty cool. Just imagine a 15 year old Storm having Wolvernine's claws hit with lightning? Imagine seeing a 20 year old Nightcrawler in a sword fight against Wolverine? Imagine a 15 year old Cyclops reflecting his optic beams off of something to hit Wolverine. Imagine a 15 year old Jean Grey Holding Wolverine suspended, effectively nullifying his powers?
