I've been a fan since the day i d/l clips of him from the UK when I searched kazaa by mistake. Then the ALI G Show, now his own movie. Any one else looking forward to this? He was on Conan last night as well as SNL on saturday. If you can, search youtube for his first conan apperance.

unfortunately I think Borat's movie will be as bad as Ali G's in da house movie. Both Ali G and Borat are funny as long as we're exposed in small doses that's why the movies fail and the same goes for Mr. Bean, I loathed Mr. Bean the movie.

I love Borat, his stuff from Da Ali G show was hilarious. I used to watch it just for that, wasn't a big Ali G fan. The movie seems like it's going to be hilarious to me. I have read some reviews and it's all been positive.

I've grown to dislike him. He was in Holland some time ago. He appeared on every show and kept making the same jokes again and again and again. It got boring extremely fast. Sometimes he can be funny, most of the times he is just cheap. That goes for every character that guy made up. A wannabe rapper -- woohoo! Imaginitive! A gay guy -- Yay! More stereotypes and cheap jokes! An a foreigner -- a funny accent always does the trick for some people. And sometimes he is just repulsive.

I see wher eyou're coming from, but look up his older stuff from the UK and da ali g show. I'm his first American Fan (my cuz from london put me on to him way before he was here in 03) and I still think the tv commercials are lame.

Even if it is every bit as great as expected, you'd expect a certain percentage of reviewers to just not get it. 100% cream of the crop is insane for anything controversial like this. I thought it'd be a lot more split.

Anyways I'll be seeing it soon so I'll know for myself.

I take back what I said. I saw a segment of the guy last night and really he is pretty funny. Apparentlt, his move is getting great reviews and alot of critics liked it for it's comedy.

I'm going to see it tonight.
