Bought a new car today

Just got back from the dealer ship

Yesterday, I got my check from my Insarance for my tottaled M3..... check was for roughly 30k.... well, me and my fiance had to take my second car, my 2006 Dodge Daytona 1500 Truck, to the dealership to get it's oil changed... why it was getting it's oil changed, I looked at the new cars in the show room, and I fell in love with this





I used my 30k, and some of my saving to outright buy it... costed me 41K

what do you guys think? We are picking it up hopefully tomorrow... well, she is, I can't drive for atleast another couple months... but aleast I got something to help me speed up my recovery

true.. thanks.. I can't wait to actually drive it... untill then, I'll be shopping online for performance parts.. looking right now... going to update the exhaust, new intake, new headers,... all that good stuff.....

well, considering that when I got to court in the next couple months, and sue the truck drivers company he works for.. I'll be sitting pretty nice.. probably upgrade then... probably a new mercedes..... or Viper.... or and huge H1 Hummer

Was your accident completely and obviously the fault of the truck driver? There's always more money in suing a company than an individual.

yeah.. I was merging on the freeway, when a truck driver mergered over the onramp and smahed directly into me.... I broke my left arm, both legs, my collar bone, fractured my hip, and broke my jaw where I had to have it wired shut for two weeks..

the driver works, or worked for a major company (can't give details), he was drunk when he hit me... his CDL was revoked because of a prior conviction... turns out his work was notified, but they continued to let him drive with no license, and a felony DUI... so basically the company is neglagent... they allowed this man, with full knowledge to be on the rode...

it's called justice, him and his company were neglajent.. they deserve and will be sued... and the only reason I sit on my ass right now is because I'm confiened to a wheel chair.. after this is all said and done, i will return to work.. actually right now, Im working 20 hours a week from home... so don't sit there and play off like you know me, or what my intentions are, I've been through alot of hard **** these past few months, so next time you feel like spreading your opinion, and sterotyping me, don't....

That seems like a pretty clear cut case from what you've said. Hope you're recovering now? I hate the abuse of the compensation system but you deserve something for this and the company deserves to pay. Also milk the system for what it's worth when you get the chance or you'll get f'ed by it in future.

trust me, my lawyer is going after them like no one's business... this case is so cut a dry.... they tried settling out of court... I was offered over 7 figures, close to 8 to settle now....
