I figure he wanted to do this.

I don’t know but I can’t really see DiCaprio committing to this. Even for only five episodes.

I thought OUATIH was kind of a waste of time, but I did enjoy a lot of the Western parts, especially the Lancer episode. So this could be fun. I think Leo would do it; I know he's basically the definition of "A List Movie Actor" but TV has really emerged as a much more enticing place to perform than it once was so I think he would probably do it. I guess Brad wouldn't be involved though, unless they have little faux interviews between episodes or something.

Not even so much quality of TV, but DiCaprio has never made a sequel to any of his movies so I would assume this would feel like a retread for him. I get it that he’s playing the character and not the actor playing the character, but we’ll see if it happens. He’s preparing to film another Scorsese film at present.

Whenever Tarantino talks about an upcoming project I take it with a grain of salt but I'd really love for him to do this series.

On the subject of Dicaprio playing Cahill, Tarantino said before he didn't expect Leo to reprise the role. It was mentioned in the Once Upon thread.
