You know what . . . why NOT?

We got threads for the following sequels: MIB III, Ocean's 14, Lethal Weapon V. So why can't we post this?

I mean they have a title for the 4th movie if they want it.

In EW, Damon was not totally against the idea of a sequel. He simply states that it would have to be a great story and he'd have to see a script.

Damon also suggested that maybe the story takes place 10 years later and we see an older version of Bourne. So maybe a sequel 10 years down the line?

Things are never set in stone when it comes to Hollywood. I wouldn't be surprised to see this announced (especially after the weekend #'s for Ultimatum), nor would I mind. These movies are great, though I've yet to see the 3rd.

I don't know to much about the books. Except that the movies and books almostt have nothing to do with each other. But I think in the books Bourn becomes a teachers. So maybe Bourine gets his life together. Becomess a teacher gets a family, yet is some how dragged back into to go after some assassain, agent like him, or I don't know some guy who likes to blow up stuff that has a past connection to bourne.

A lot of performers say they won't do anymore of this movie or that franchise, but they still do.

Everyone involved in MIB said there wouldn't be a sequel. 5 years later, lo and behold.

Also if there is another movie, I think he has to get together with Pamela Landy .

I guess everyone does have a price but at what expense do they buy actors and let the story suffer? Look at X3, look at SM3, look at MIB II, Die Another Day, etc...etc...it seems these companies are so desperate to get or keep big names in their movies that the story suffers and the movie declines. I think Bourne went out on top and did what most movies trilogies don't do and that is get better with each picture.

You don't have to like it, but this is the nature of the business. And it's kind of why we simply can't ignore Bourne 4 .

Especially now that Die Hard 4 just came out. Indy 4 comes out next year. Beverly Hills Cop 4 is coming soon .

I'm in a '4' mood tonight...after the ending of Bourne Ultimatum, a 4th is hinted at, and givin the income of Bourne 3, a 4th is gonna happen. Will Matt Damon return though?

after rewatching Bourne 3, illegaly , and hearing that Bourne music at the end when he is, in fact, alive, i want more...anyone else?

It would be called THE BOURNE LEGACY. That's the name of the 4th book.

its pretty obvious there is going to be a 4th.

it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

the 3rd has just cleaned up at the box office.

money talks, and this is Matt Damon's hit franchise. Of course, he will make a fourth.

expect the fourth one to probably make even more money than the third.

they might wait 3 years though before it comes out. any sooner, and people might get fed up, although its unlikely.

just because he is alive there has to be a fourth? so he has to die before he can end this series? that makes no sense. it should end at the 'logical' ending, which was the ultimatum ending. if they make a 4th i blame you fan boys.

damon is finally working with a REAL director and film maker in darren arnofsky, after that experience, he will not come back to the mindless killing of jason bourne. he will have evolved as an actor.

Even though I loved the third one I'm gonna have to say no. I'd rather it end well than have tons of pointless terrible sequels.

I think they should quit while they're ahead... they have a good, solid trilogy of films that pretty much reached a conclusion. Anything more would be overkill.

Of course, 10 years down the road, we might see "Live Free or Die Bourne" if Damon and co. get a bug up their collective ass to being in another hefty paycheck.

The ending of the last one happened because they wanted it to be left open. There was no intention to make a fourth film while they were making the third. With that said, a fourth film would be useless. The story is over, and there is nothing to tell.

apparently you dont read the books, their a good bit different, alike yes, but more different than alike.
