I don't think they are marketing it like a bad film but I don't think that the marketing campaign has been great or even good really.

I think the trailers made a mistake by hiding all the Disney and alternate/hidden history connections.
IMHO, those are the film's most appealing aspects.
This is my point. I don't even remember the girls name in the trailer. Just her yelling "take me there."
I don't need to know the entire plot but I feel like I need to care about her or Tomorrowland's fate if she doesn't help.
I'm getting nothing from this.
So we have gone from film trailers show too much, to they need to make me care about the characters in he trailers. Ok...
This is the only Disney movie I'll be watching this year. I'm ready!
I think the content within the latest trailer looked great, BUT I found it to be a very oddly-edited trailer that wasn't particularly effective. Doesn't dampen my expectations at all, though, because as I said, I think the film itself looks fantastic.
Isn't that what the movie is for?

You mean they are hiding the story? Yes, they clearly are. I have been saying that for a long time. This isn't news to me.![]()
They have kept the vast majority of Disney things out of the trailers except for that one in Japan. Why? I am not sure. But I think they want it a secret for whatever reason.Yeah. Removing Walts name from the line up wouldn't alter the meaning in the trailer. This is a really weird strategy.

If it's a good movie and if it doesn't do well, I would glad that it just got made.
