The British Sun reports that the more muscular part of Brangelina was chosen to star in the film resurrection of the one we almost forgot. He-Man. By the power of Grayskull!

The Legendary Pictures crew has already cleaned the dust off Superman and now it is the turn of the cartoon from 1980s, the times when we waited for odd dates to start the car and when entire families would go shopping because that was the day when the washing powder arrived. Still, there were good cartoons on television during all those years and He-Man was not one of them.

But it was one of the most popular ones. Right after Sport Billy. Popular likes popular and it is normal that the bosses immediately picked up the phone and called Brad. If negotiations go well, we will have the opportunity to see to what extent Pitt’s muscles can additionally grow since the Troy story. If negotiations fail, the producers will turn to another muscular male from the attractive aggressive category: Gerard Butler. He was recently seen on the big screen yelling “This is Sparta!”

He-Man is the most powerful man in the animated series The Masters of the Universe and, if it were not for Skeletor, the muscular baddie with a skeleton head and a hood, everything would be idyllic. In this way, they must constantly fear for the safety of their almost happy Eternia… All in all, the story is as thin as the thinnest cigaret paper, but when has that ever stopped anyone from making money on it?

There was an attempt at a movie adaptation back in 1987, when things were still hot and when Dolph Lundgren had a good mass – definition ratio. The movie did not turn out to be a big hit, but at least our Lundgren, Swedish chemistry engineer temporarily employed in Hollywood, had the chance to scream “I have the power!” every so often.

They will most certainly offer this to Brad too as one of the positive aspects of the He-Man project.

Its false. Legendary Pictures said they don't own the rights to He-man. So there won't be a movie.

Brad Pitt would be great playing the role of DC's Catman, in the "Secret Six".

that would be frickin' gay. altho, he does kinda look like a slimmer version of Prince Adam.

Jeremy Northam for Skeletor.

The thing that bothers me is how many sites reported this BS. Someone even said that Legendary is Bryan Singer's production company, while Legendary pictures, as you can read on its site (http://www.legendarypictures.com/) is a financing company, people with money to invest, that has a partnership with Warner Bros.
They just bring the money, they don't acquire properties. So the story on the Sun is completely bull****.

Absolutely. It's just sloppy, lazy sensationalism.

Brad Pitt playing He-Man. Come on.

yeah its not like angelina jolie playing lara croft he man has more muscle than mr pitt

The guy from 300 I forgot is name is a good pic. But I think it s time to take some one bigger like Triple H. Give those WWF beast a chance!

wont happen with pitt... so it prob wont happen

The real news is that the movie is now in the hands of Joel Silver, you know the producer of the Lethal Weapon and Matrix movies.

oh sweet sweet 'masters of the universe' dvd.

how i love thee.

(not a 1/10 as much as im gonna love my 'moster squad' dvd, being relased july 24th. YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!)

I hated masters of the universe for one reason only He-Man should use a sword not a Star Wars blaster for most of the movies.

The good things about 1987's Masters of The Universe were Frank Langella's performance as Skeletor and the homages to the works of Jack Kirby such as The New Gods and the Captain America stories involving the Red Skull obtaining the Cosmic Cube.

Pitt is Cap, not He-man.

Dolph is forever the one true He-man, and Ivan Drago. and punisher too I guess. gosh the guy played everybody

Pitt should play Catman! The Secret Six are just too funny to pass up!

 I'm almost applauding you for noticing that. I've actually had e-mail discussions with Gary Goddard, the director, and Kirby's work was a huge influence on the movie.

Even though this rumor is probably fake, I still think Brad Pitt would be an excellent choice for He-Man! I thought he was great as Achilles in Troy so I think he could pull the role off pretty well.

The movie would be even better if they got Frank Langella to comeback as Skeletor! Honestly, he was nothing short of brilliant. To me, he was the REAL Skeletor. He was everything that the cartoon Skeletor should have been. Cold, menacing and evil yet charismatic and majestic. Not a whiney loser.

Pitt is a little overated. he should stick to playing people much like himself. He-man and Cap should be played by someone who fits the role

MR 7000+! If only your avatar could be bigger! :oldrazz:

As for HE MAN they should give a chance to WWF. They have to lean how to be an actor a la Arnold and that s it!
