...would anyone here like to see a dark knight returns film. It would be cool as something complete seperate from the current film continuity as a batman film or...you could do it from supes point of view showing him as a jaded government pawn. I've never been a superman fan but this has some serious potential imho

edit: dammit it won't let me change the title. my typing sucks :(

Superman as jaded government pawn = me not watching the movie.

Wait, didnt Singer say that if he made a Batman/Superman movie Batman would be the villain or some ****?

That could work, actually. Reminiscent of their meeting in Man of Steel volume 1, Superman would see Batman as a villain.

Yeah thats gonna fly well with the Batman fanboys.

I don't think he meant "villain" in the cackling, megalomaniacal sense. If Batman and Superman met up, I could easily see Batman taking the role of antagonist, trying to uncover Superman's weaknesses and identity in case he ever needed to take him down. It's the prudent, logical move. Problem is, it's already served as the basis for a fine Batman/Superman crossover: the World's Finest episodes/movie of the animated series.

Wrong section again hippy.

what i dont get is why every hollywood moron has superman VS batman in their heads... their should be any VERSUS at all... maybe an intial scuffle and mis understanding, but the focus of the movie shouldnt be them squaring off, it should be them meeting and learning to trust one another...

Maybe because every comic book moron has Superman vs. Batman in their heads, too? Seriously, think back on the last five years. There've been more than half a dozen comics with Superman fighting Batman, both in continuity and out of continuity. Kind of a lot when you consider that they're not only on the same side, but good friends.

Theyve also had All Star Batman and Robin, lets do that movie.

All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder! They didn't give the comic a preponderously long title for you to come along and shorten it, young man!

Yeah, it's got an absurdly long abbreviation, too. I usually forget what I was typing by the time I get to the end of it, so it comes out more like "ASB&RTBAIJKWIOD:ASJKAS."

I'd totally call it World's Finest instead of Batman vs Superman.

I'd enjoy a World's Finest movie much more than Batman vs. Superman. Unless, of course, Batman vs. Superman consisted of Batman standing around and then suddenly getting knocked out by a blue-and-red streak of wind, followed by the director shrugging and going, "What? What did you think would happen?"

Agreed.

worlds finest, just like the cartoon. but you know, in the form of a 2 hour movie

I would pay upwards of $60 to see a brain singer live in concert.

Im just curious as to what youll make fun of next.
