Sequels Brat Pack members in Homecoming 2?

With Homecoming being a homage to the John Hughes era of Hollywood should there be a place for members of the Brat Pack in the sequel? Okay, Robert Downey Jr. played a part in the first one, obviously, but other members? What about Molly Ringwald, Alan Ruck, Judd Nelson, Rob Lowe or Matthew Broderick? Could James Spader return to the MCU or Jennifer Grey or Lea Thompson join it? And whatever happened to Andrew McCarthy?

I'm in for Lea Thompson, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall or Ally Sheedy in a sequel, but she was a teacher in Apocalypse so maybe not. And even though she only worked with Hughes in Sixteen Candles, I'd love to see Joan Cusack as a school counselor or something. That could be funny.

As much as I adore Tomei and her May was perfect for what they were going for, but thinking about it, if they had cast Molly Ringwald as May that would have worked too
