Drama Breaking Bad - - Part 15

Must resist the urge to cause flame wars in the comments by reminding people that BB's best episode was a Rian Johnson joint.
But he didn't write it. I feel like most criticism directed towards him is usually about his writing, not his directing.

I must say nobody really talks about what an insane run of episodes the middle of season 2 was.

Well damn. I'm really thankful that he got the part now and that it fully rebooted his career. It's hard for me to name a lot of stuff that Esposito was in pre-BB apart from the handful of Spike Lee movies he was in and The Usual Suspects but post-BB he's been all over the place.

It was wild to see almost every trade report on this from a somewhat personal POV, only for Deadline to decide to go with the most cop-like framing possible…

Is Deadline owned by the New York Post or something? :o

The only equivalent to working in a Cinnabon at the mall is working at Aunty Anne's.

Nordstrom Ebar would be funnier.

Wouldn’t have been the same.
At first I thought, "We missed out on comedy gold" but the concept of Jimmy working at Hot Topic is too silly, and frankly farfetched. It's been a minute since I've been in a Hot Topic but I at least remember that you'd never find anyone over the age of 40 working there, and that's being generous. :o

There’s a monotony to a place like Cinnabon that made it the ultimate hell for Jimmy. I don’t think you get the same effect from a small dark hole in the wall blasting music all hours of the day that caters to nerds and goths alike.

Also, Jimmy working at a Hot Topic wouldn't be very conducive to him being in witness protection as he'd stick out like a sore thumb there. Cinnabon is far more inconspicuous.
