Monopoly, Facebook and now Guitar Hero? Will anyone actually watch these movies?

It makes me sad that **** like this is getting thrown around for movie ideas, while nothing is going on with Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear Solid or Halo films.

I can see the having good stories for both 'Monopoly' and 'Facebook', based on the characters. Like, when I think of those two, I think of what they did with 'Finding Neverland' with Johnny Depp. And that was a good movie. Now, 'Guitar Hero'... some related the movie to 'Spinal Tap', I can only hope that it's based off that but... I don't see much coming from this. But, who the hell knows, this one virtually has no source material, just songs and bands and stages is all the game's really about, and maybe it'll be good because of that, because when I look at video game movies these days that are bad, it's mainly because the game itself that the movie's based on has so much story and character that in some films, they just reject them.

Who let him direct Red Dragon? That was his ticket to getting crap like this green lit. I guess he wants to appeal to the 'Beerfest' crowd.
