True, which is why the first one was only ever marketed as "Wicked" even though it wasn't a secret. I do think that there are exceptions to the rule if something has a strong enough fanbase. For example, I think Wicked skews closer to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows than Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning as far as Part 1/2 titles go. And even just for casual audience members, Wicked gave people enough of a reason to go out and experience it in theaters as opposed to just waiting to watch it at home before Part 2.Sure, that would be cute, but there is enough evidence that shows titles such as that deter people away from the theater.
